Why is mathematics
so important?
 1. Mathematics includes fundamental knowledge that
you can use in other scientific fields such as physics,
economics, chemistry, geography, biology, astronomy
 2. Mathematics develops critical thinking, so you can
analyze different situations
 3. Without mathematics there would be no banking
system and financial activity
 4. Everything built in this world is based
on mathematical formulas, whether we
are talking about constructions,
electronics or engines that lead to the
progress of society
 5. Through mathematics communication
and, implicitly, socialization are developed,
through information technology
 6. Mathematics trains logic memory,
recognition of hypotheses and
consequences, helps the student to express
himself clearly and to be organized
 7. Mathematics helps us in daily life in various
situations such as: family budget calculation, holiday
planning or bank transactions
 8. Everything in everyday life is based on elementary
math knowledge, for example: time organization,
shopping, gastronomy, health, tailoring
 9. Mathematics stimulates the desire to
persevere in the study
 10. Mathematical statistics and interpretation of
statistical data require mathematical knowledge
 11. Quick math calculations and probability calculations
are also used in card games, rummy, billiards,
logic/thinking games.
