THERE WILL BE THREE (3) COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
THAT WILL BE VEHICLES FOR PRODUCT PROMOTIONS.
THE SPORTS CLINICS. Kids and families will be invited to come to the
event with gate entry stubs acquired from the product-selling promotions.
THE STREET GAMES. Games will conducted in Barangays, with children
using Larong Pinoy Game Stubs acquired from product purchases at stores.
THE TOURNAMENTS. Inter-Barangay Tournaments will be held as
culminating event. Barangay teams will be competing in mini-Olympics
matches. Consumers raffle draws will be conducted with product
labels as entry stubs.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PLAN
 CLINIC GAME STUBS will be distributed
along with leaflets & registration forms;
 Local RETAIL STORES become conduits to all
the fun promotions in target areas, for the
youth market to purchase sponsor’s products
in exchange for game stubs.
Larong Pinoy promotions will be conducted
in barangays for a period of FIVE (5) WEEKS
to energize neighborhood participation.
Larong Pinoy Game Stubs are distributed in
retail outlets carrying the sponsor’s product-
brands. Magna Kultura coordinators count the
product inventory and give the commensurate
number of stub.
COMMUNITY PROMOTION SCHEME
The Larong Pinoy events are announced in Barangays.
Residents join by obtaining Larong Pinoy Tickets for the Sports Clinics.
 One ticket entitles one participant to join the Larong Pinoy Sports Clinic
 Tickets can be obtained by completing five purchase stubs sari-sari stores.
 Specified products may be tagged with points.
 Consumers can submit their stubs at store outlets in exchange for tickets.

Households and retail stores to promote product purchase.

The Larong Pinoy program will be a
fun wellness activity that will engage
children and parents in communities.
The promotion of the games will be a combination of an advocacy
for the revival of the heritage games, with the vital promotion
fitness and wellness for a healthy citizenry.
The advent of information technology has
ushered high-tech gadgets and computer
games that has fascinated children and
even adults. Computers and game gadgets
are mostly played indoor, with less outdoor
physical activity and bonding among
neighborhood friends.
Yet still, in many urban and rural areas, a
great majority of Filipino children still
find time to play outdoor indigenous
games with their neighborhood friends,
as most of them are still unable to own
expensive high-tech gadgets.
Larong Pinoy’s popularity
encompasses not only the
youth, but adult and elderly
generation as well.
It’s a timeless cultural treasure.
It promotes fun. It promotes
culture. It instills patriotism.
It is an activity that will bond
children in communities.

PEOPLE IN COMMUNITIES
Contrary to the notion that the Filipino
Street Games are no longer played, as
some perceives that it has vanished in
Philippine society; in urban and rural
areas, a great majority of children still
play the games with their neighbourhood
friends. This so because most of them are
still unable to own expensive high-tech
gadgets.

Games like Patintero, Tumbang Preso,
Piko, Sipa, Trumpo, and many others,
are very much alive and played daily in
the neighbourhood.
 Training for children with ages 5
to 15 years old with instructions
on game play mechanics and
procedures for mini-games.
 Sports Clinics with scientific drill
exercises to train kids in proper
posture & movements.
Magna Kultura is currently the chief proponent
of Traditional Filipino Games in the Philippines,
instrumental in reviving the games back in the
mainstream of Philippine society.
In Y2005, Magna Kultura organized the first ever
school training for Larong Pinoy, with a systematic
curriculum that teaches the playing mechanics and
official tournament system for the games.
The organization is recognized by the Department
of Education, schools & academic circles, socio-civic
organizations, as well as the Philippine media for being
an authority in the advocacy of the Filipino games.

as a guardian for the preservation and restitution
of the Games of our Heritage in Philippine society.

  • 5. IS A GREAT EVENT VEHICLE THAT WILL TAKE PRODUCT-BRANDS IN COMMUNITIES WITH CONSUMER GOODWILL THAT WILL TRIGGER PRODUCT SALES AT RETAIL STORES. FROM CHILDREN TO PARENTS TO GRAND-PARENTS. Larong Pinoy can bring brand goodwill house-to-house, and enjoin consumers to be part of the program. It is a potent below-the-line promotions that can deliver day-after sales.
  • 6. THERE WILL BE THREE (3) COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES THAT WILL BE VEHICLES FOR PRODUCT PROMOTIONS. THE SPORTS CLINICS. Kids and families will be invited to come to the event with gate entry stubs acquired from the product-selling promotions. THE STREET GAMES. Games will conducted in Barangays, with children using Larong Pinoy Game Stubs acquired from product purchases at stores. THE TOURNAMENTS. Inter-Barangay Tournaments will be held as culminating event. Barangay teams will be competing in mini-Olympics matches. Consumers raffle draws will be conducted with product labels as entry stubs. 1st : 2nd : 3rd : COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PLAN
  • 7.  CLINIC GAME STUBS will be distributed along with leaflets & registration forms;  Local RETAIL STORES become conduits to all the fun promotions in target areas, for the youth market to purchase sponsor’s products in exchange for game stubs. Larong Pinoy promotions will be conducted in barangays for a period of FIVE (5) WEEKS to energize neighborhood participation. Larong Pinoy Game Stubs are distributed in retail outlets carrying the sponsor’s product- brands. Magna Kultura coordinators count the product inventory and give the commensurate number of stub.
  • 8. COMMUNITY PROMOTION SCHEME The Larong Pinoy events are announced in Barangays. Residents join by obtaining Larong Pinoy Tickets for the Sports Clinics.  One ticket entitles one participant to join the Larong Pinoy Sports Clinic  Tickets can be obtained by completing five purchase stubs sari-sari stores.  Specified products may be tagged with points.  Consumers can submit their stubs at store outlets in exchange for tickets. MINIMUM PURCHASE OF SPONSOR’S PRODUCTS WILL BE SET TO OBTAIN GAME STUBS AND RAFFLE TICKETS GAIN PROOF-OF-PURCHASE SALES: FROM THE SPORTS CLINICS, TO STREET-MATCHES, TO THE WEEKLY COMMUNITY GAMES.

  • 13. The Larong Pinoy program will be a fun wellness activity that will engage children and parents in communities. The promotion of the games will be a combination of an advocacy for the revival of the heritage games, with the vital promotion fitness and wellness for a healthy citizenry.
  • 14. The advent of information technology has ushered high-tech gadgets and computer games that has fascinated children and even adults. Computers and game gadgets are mostly played indoor, with less outdoor physical activity and bonding among neighborhood friends. Yet still, in many urban and rural areas, a great majority of Filipino children still find time to play outdoor indigenous games with their neighborhood friends, as most of them are still unable to own expensive high-tech gadgets.
