Why We Started This Company
We had a bad roommate, who hasn't? Currently, there was no simple way to find, vet, and match roommates in the market today, so we set out to make that happen and Roommatefax.com is what we came up with.
What Sets Us Apart
There are 5 important factors to consider in the roommate search. 1) Would we get along? 2) If we did get along, do we like/dislike the same things? 3) Is the potential roommate who they say or appear to be? 4) Is there an easy way to find a person to live with like this? 5) Is there an easy way to find a place. Although some companies answer one or two of these questions with their service, none of them answer all 5 in an easy to use site/app at a competitive price.

Joe Sesso
Homes.com National Sales Director. Author of up coming book "Secrets Of Top Selling Agents, Real Estate Titans Reveal the Play Book for Sales Success".
Our goal with digital marketing is to make sure we are helping our partners generate new business leads. There are 240 million Internet users in the U.S., with 16 billion searches conducted on the top search engines every month. 85% of those users believe the businesses that appear at the top on the first page of a search are the best. Another important point: 2 out of 10 searches have local intent — users are looking for things in their own backyard.
Two key digital marketing tactics that will help your business show up more often, and closer to the top, are SEM and SEO. Search Engine Marketing (SEM) is the quickest way to reach new customers looking for your services. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of your website (or a specific web page) in search engines via the “natural” or un-paid (“organic” or “algorithmic”) search results.

Now more than ever consumers are looking for a way to get into a home, without stepping inside. In the midst of a pandemic, Home owners and landlords are trying to get buyers and tenants into homes, while those occupying the property are trying to do all they can to limit the exposure of themselves and others into a home. The use of video and virtual tours is a critical marketing tool in maximizing exposure to the property. This session explores the various resources, tools and tactics for gathering engaging media and 3D tours both with premium and free tools.
Every broker knows that connection with those in his or her office is essential to team building, engagement, culture and increasing opportunities. However, the old office meeting, where agents sit around and moan about their non-sellable listings have left many of your agents' resistance to attending. The ubiquity of information has made it hard for many managers to find relevance in the agent’s life. Matthew Rathbun shares how his focus on telling the agent’s story and that of the firms has increased attendance. The tools to tell these stories are all around you and can help you craft an experience and not just another meeting.
Ninety-nine percent of consumers conduct online searches related to buying and selling real estate. They are seeking valuable tools and information to help with those processes. Information breeds loyalty. Agents can take advantage of free resources to step up their marketing game and increase their business by offering information, tools and resources that will encourage the consumer to engage the agent. This session focuses on easy means to create content and inbound marketing campaign.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
