Revolver distributors
- 1. Revolver is one of the UK & Eire’s leading "All Rights" distribution & production companies. I believe it would be an effective distributor for our film because they are UK based and have produced many British based films of all genres. Furthermore, as well as being a admirer of many films it also produced one of the most related films to our project: Kidulthood. As well as possessing very similar plots about teenage drug and relationships there are similar parts to the mise en scene in both stories. Examples include: •Language used: this includes the non standard English, deceptive and aggressive tones •Costume is very similar as not only are costumes predominantly dark colours but the type of clothing e.g. jogging bottoms, sneakers and jeans are also similar •Environment. Both are filmed in extremely rural environments, which further support the similarity between the two films and why we believe Revolver entertainment should distribute our film.
