3. Conversational rules
•Do not say anything to hurt the feelings of
someone present. Be polite.
•Talk about things that will interest everyone.
•Do not begin to talk while someone else is talking.
Say “excuse me” if you need to interrupt someone.
Then wait for your turn.
•Do not talk too loudly.
•Keep to the topic.

4. Active and Passive voices
• People use pens to write with.- Active voice
• The pen is used to write with. – Passive voice.
We often use Passive voice when it is not important who
does the action.
We are not allowed to talk loudly at the lessons.
