5. Front Cover
This is the front cover of my music magazine. I wanted
to use the same conventions as the famous ‘Rolling
Stone’ and I believe I done this quite well by using a
prominent colour scheme of black and red through out.
I chose the font for my title as it looked similar to
Rolling Stone.
On the front cover, I have added the main features
which are on all popular magazine around the world.
These features are the names of different bands which
are included in the magazine, price, date, barcode and
a main image of the front, which normally indicates that
artist is featured throughout the magazine and is the
main interview within.
I believe my front cover was done reasonably well but
still consider many rooms of improvement as it was not
as high standard than some other students in my class.
I could have added some more images to my front
cover showing other features of the magazine. If I was
to do this project again I would use a more vibrant
colour scheme so it would stand out more to the
passing eye.
