The pesentation is the review of popular book of Chetan Bhagat "3 mistake in my life". The presentation won the first prize among 50 candidates who wrote the book review.

3. Characters
It’s the story about three friends
Omi, Govind and Ishaan. The story
is presented through Govind’s
eyes and it’s his three mistakes of
life that are presented along.
Govind is, interested in coming up
on his own in life, through business.

4. Ish is cricket player whose passion
lies in playing, teaching and
watching cricket. Omi is a priest‘s
son who doesn’t have any
ambition of his own and just
moves along with his two friends.

5. Story
 The book is based on real life events.
What follows is a mix of cricket,
religion, business, love and friendship.
Story begins with Bhagat receiving
an e-mail from Govind who had
taken many sleeping pill.
Govind set up Cricket Shop along
with his friends in the temple
compound with Omi’s family’s help.

6. The shop prospers as Ishaan
coaches young boys in cricket and
Govind teaches maths to some
boys and Ishaan’ sister Vidya.
They want to expand business in
new mall in city. They select the
prime location in mall for their shop
and pay the advance.

7. Omi’s Bittoo Mama (maternal uncle),
a communal party man bent on
converting the young into fighters in
the name of Hinduism and wants
that these boys should work for there
secular party.
Ishan then meets Ali, a Muslim child
master with reflex condition hit each
ball for a six but can’t play more than
an over due to weakness.

8. They agreed to provide cricket
coaching and maths tuitions free of
cost to Ali. Ali displays the talent which
Ishaan never had and Ali’s destiny
becomes his own.
It is the Republic day, earthquake
came in Gujarat. Mall in which they
had booked shop get fully destroyed.
Money invested (`110000) in mall shop
turns into first big mistake of Govind.

9. They endure great pains to take Ali
all the way to Sydney at the
suggestion of one of the Australian
players. There, Ali is offered a
contract on the condition that he
have to become an Australian
citizen is refused by Ali.
Govind falls in love with Vidya . That
was his second big mistake.

10. Bittoo Mama sends his son and
Omi’s mother with other Sevak to
Ayodhya. On their return journey
Muslim mob put on fire the bogie of
Sevaks. In that Mama lost his son.
Ahmedabad burns in riot fires.
Bittoo mama with his party workers
kills Ali’s family. Now mama wants
to kill Ali.

11. Omi dies while saving Ali from
Mama’s attack.
Ishaan finds out about Vidya and
Govind, a betrayal he does not
forgive.
Govind while protecting Ali form
Mama make his third mistake. Due
to a second delay a blade of
mama’s trishul jabbed Ali’s Wrist.

12. After these events Ishaan not talk
with Govind for more than two
years. These events lead Govind to
his death-bed and that is when he
writes the email to Chetan.
Chetan Bhagat trigger the
reconciliation between Ish and
Govind, rekindle the love between
Govind and Vidya & instill in him
the desire to stay alive.

Content: The Three Mistakes of my
Life’ is a story well told. Book has
many interesting settings and
situation.
Language: This book is written simply
and has the quality that makes one
want to read the book cover to
cover in one sitting.

14. Other: None of reason for saving Ali
are based on the fact that he's a
Muslim, or they save Ali out of any
moral obligation apart from the
fact that he is a potential
cricketing great. Chetan's notions
of nationalism and patriotism are
just too immature and simplistic.

15. Conclusion
Many times our dreams crash into
pieces by unexpected events but
with support from people around, we
can get back on track, focus and
rebuild our dreams.
Life will have many setbacks. People
close to you will hurt you. But you
don’t break it off. You don’t hurt
them more. You try to heal it.
