Business Process Ownership for SAP Production Planning (SAP PP) Module [consists of all master data,
system configuration, and transactions to complete the Plan to Produce process, that include the Material
Master, Bill of Material, Routing and Work Center data, Demand Management and Material Requirement
Planning (MRP)]
Deploy Lean Six Sigma Synergy to simultaneously improve speed and performance, using Strategic
Tools: PCSAM (Problem, Cause, Solution, Action, Measure); DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze,
Improve, Control)
Establish the Voice of the Customer (VOC), using QFD (Quality Function Deployment) methodology to
identify and quantify Customer’s Requirements-CTQs (Critical to Quality)
A3 Development – ‘System’ view of Business and use it to reveal continuous improvement opportunities
across the manufacturing operations by systematic identification and elimination of waste
Introduce MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis), Baseline Capability study, Pareto analysis and
processing data (Statistical Process Control-SPC) on Customer Wants & Needs (Y’s) to determine analysis
strategy
Analyze Cause and Effect (C & E Matrix), identify failure modes, estimate risks and prioritize the
improvement actions (FMEA-Failure Modes & Effects Analysis).
Perform Hypothesis Testing (Regression, Chi-Square, ANOVA) by using identified JMP tools and RBC
Statistical Analysis Roadmap; to interpret, stratify and identify potential causes influencing the outcome
behaviour
Carry out Design of Experiments (DOE) program to determine a predictive knowledge and identify
sensitive design elements with the fewest acceptable trials
Document Control Plan, develop Visual Management dashboards to enable performance measurement
and target setting
NPD Project Lifecycle Management
Generate and encourage Ideas from the Business partners and competition study. Evaluate, analyze
(SWOT analysis) and spot, that offering the potential business opportunities
Identify and establish the needs & expectations; generate Value Stream Mapping (VSM); adopt
breakthrough technologies from similar industries (SWIPE-Steal With Integrity and Pride from Everywhere);
create the NPD Project Charter and conduct the Prototype development and testing
Capture direct material cost data and assist to formulate marketing and Product Life Cycle strategy,
business analysis, identify Customers in a simulated marketing environment and commercialization
New Product Development Initiatives:
Develop the Vertical Hollow Shaft (VHS) Motor, designed primarily for deep well
turbine pump applications with extra high thrust capabilities and non-reverse ratchet-pin assembly.
Introduce Brake Motor to the product offerings, that provides the means of slowing or stopping the driven
equipment effectively and safely in a very short time period
Product line extension with F300 class Smoke Extraction Motor, finds application in shopping malls,
tunnels and parking lots to prevent smoke logging and delay in fire spreading
Introduce heavy duty Scraper Winch Motor, designed to withstand more abuse in bulk materials handling
applications, where unprocessed rock is collected in a scraper winch and then hauled
Construct full-scale working model of Permanent Magnet Brush-Less DC Motor for non hazardous precise
speed control application

Roles n Responsibilities:
Responsible to Design, Detail, Manufacture, Validate and Schedule the Tooling for optimal performance
and reliability during their lifecycle; that includes single/progressive stage Press Tools for metal-
forming/punching processes, operation and inspection Jigs & Fixtures
Perform concept to detailed design of high-precision compound and progressive sheet metal tooling for
conventional and fine-blanking, bending, forming, notching, lancing and slitting operations
Design and build up innumerable jigs & fixtures poised for high precision Ancillary components serving
all major Auto manufacturers namely Maruti Udyog Limited, Ford India Limited, Fiat India, Toyota

troubleshoot vendor problems; monitor and mitigate vendor risks; measure the quality and timeliness of
delivery against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Capacity Management Initiative:
‘Capacity Planning for Manufacture of Fine Blanked Tools’
A Project taken in fulfillment of the academic requirements of the MBA Program, aims to minimize the
variance between the capacity of Tool Room facilities and the changing demands of Fine Blanked Tools by
Customers at IFB Industries. The project attempts optimized-utilization of resources and sharpening-up the
management decision processes on production lead time, Customer responsiveness and operating cost
TORA Software is used to solve Linear Programming Problem (LPP) in estimating the effect of changes
(e.g. changes in costs, production capacities,..) and the Sensitivity Analysis gives a measure of solution
robustness, i.e. the stability of optimal solutions and the optimal objective value with respect to disruptions
in the input data.
