Routing by customizing the standard product.
Workflow & Authorization was also integrated so that the complete
production process is streamlined and used effectively by all the
departments of DISA.

Hussmann stationary refrigeration equipment; Ingersoll

Worked very closely with one of the Navision Solution centers in
Netherlands for the knowledge transfer of the Equipment Life Cycle
vertical developed in Navision, catering to the Heavy Equipment
Industry.
Integrated the Indian Localization features to the ELC vertical so that

& bylaws.

Accomplishment A generic template, which will be flexible enough to handle the 3
dimensional views dynamically.
The template is designed, to easily interface with any 3rd
party
application such as SAP, Oracle etc, to import the data from, process
the data with in Navision and to provide with the dynamic E-Profit
Analysis.
The analysis is done on 3 parameters:
1. Dimension: Dimensional values such as Average Loan amount,
Loan Spread, Loan Revenue, Saving Average Amount, Saving
Spread, Saving Revenue, Financial Profit, Cost Amount, Cost
Ratio etc. are dynamically incorporated as X-Axis co-
ordinates.
2. Analysis View: Analysis view such as by Industry, by Credit
Rank, by Branch and by Account etc. are incorporated as Y-
Axis co-ordinates. The Analysis view further breaks down into
4 hierarchial levels where 0 being the top level and 3 being
the bottom level.
3. Analysis Combination: Any type of views can be combined
which results in combinational views such as (by Industry by
Rank) (by Industry by Account) etc.
Budgeting:
This section will be used to forecast the analysis over a period based
on the history of transactions. This section will be comprised of two
parts namely
1. Stock: The actual transactions per customer.
2. Flow: The forecasted data, which is variable.
3. Profit: Flow + Stock
The Flow can be varied in terms of percentage to obtain the profit
margin.

Customer J-WEC (Phase-1 & Phase-2), JAPAN

Accomplishment 1. ETC Management (vertical developed and made proprietary for
PBC)
2. Standard modules were implemented such as
 Sales & Receivables
 Purchase & Payables
 General Ledger.
ETC (Electronic Toll Cards).
3. Customizations are done based on the rules defined by the
Electronic Toll Gate Company namely (Japan Highway - Kodan)
for the processing of ETC Card Usage and ETC Card Management.
A separate module is customized in order to suit the needs of ETC
Card Management which includes managing ETC Cards with
respect to
 New ETC card registration.
 Old ETC card Maintenance.
 Validation on lost, stolen and damaged ETC cards and its
usage.
 Validation of ETC card against the vehicle inspection
document, there by maintaining the data redundancy and
data integrity.
Sales & Receivables module is totally integrated with the ETC card
management module in order to keep track of all the financial
transactions based on the ETC card usage by a customer. Customer
invoices and Credit memos are customized as against the standard
functionality in order to suit the J-WEC requirement of customer
invoicing and layout.
Customer invoice is processed based on the monthly ETC card
usage data sent by (JH-Kodan) and the printed format of invoice is
issued to the customer.
Also the Invoiced data is processed to be sent to the other factoring
company namely (Mizuho) which is responsible to collect the
payment from customer for the monthly ETC card usage.
Data pertaining to collected and uncollected customer invoice is
sent back to J-WEC which is accepted by the system to validate and
automatically settle the customer payments as against the open
customer invoice, failing which will result in Re-Invoice.
The process of Data exchange is customized based on the rules
defined by the (Japan Highway – Kodan).
Also Membership Deposit, Contribution, Assessment, Insurance,
Refund on retirement concepts were integrated.
Invoice discount calculation is employed based on the membership
hierarchy and introducer concept.
Special services such as Health, Funeral, Flower, JRS (Japan Road
Service) are also integrated.

Customer LaCie, Japan

Role Played ERP Consultant
Accomplishment LaCie, Japan is basically a trade and a logistic company, mainly
dealing with supply of computers and its peripherals. They import the
products from US and UK and sell it to the distributors and also to the
customers directly. Also in some cases they assemble BOM items in
Fed-Ex and sell it as a main product. Consumption tax of 5% is
levied on the total sales.
Price protection is employed because of the fast changes in unit
cost of the items especially in the hardware industry. Special
discounts are also employed.
FIFO costing is employed and revenue is recognized based on FIFO
costing logic.
Customization is done in the areas pertaining to Sales shipments.
Automatic Voucher Numbers are generated which will be used to link
the shipments between Fed-Ex and Lacie-Japan.CSV files will be
generated by the system summarizing the shipments based on Ship-
to code and Date of shipment.
General Ledger, Sales & Receivables, Purchase & payables and
Resource modules are implemented.

Project 14 Implementation of Dynamics NAVISION ERP (v3.6)
Customer Hiestand, Japan
Role Played ERP Consultant
Accomplishment Hiestand is basically a trade and a logistic company, mainly dealing
with supply of bread products to its customers in Japan. They import
bread products from Malaysia, Germany, Austria etc and stock in their
ware house and ship the stock to its customers in Japan.
The business process is very unique with regard to the import of
Items (Bread and its products) since it takes about 8 weeks for the
Items to reach the Port and another two days to reach the actual
ware house in Osaka. The purchase cost will be recognized even
before the goods arrive into the port. Items in the port are handled by
another company by the name NTR, which is responsible for re-
assigning of LOT and dispatching the items to the warehouse. Custom
clearance and Item handling charge for the products will be levied by
NTR on monthly basis, which is known as collective invoice.
On sales, Hiestand will supply the Items to its customers through NTR
as its channel i.e. Hiestand will send the information to NTR asking
them to ship the items to its customers. The information exchange
between Hiestand and NTR is through the data exchange in a fixed
format.
Only after the customer sells the items, Hiestand will recognize the
revenue i.e the sales order would be posted in navision to reflect the
sales revenue before which only the inventory quantity would be
recognized and tracked with respect to customer and its location.
The entire business operation takes into account the lot number series
with a strict expiry date validation on all products. The products which
are damaged or expired will be scrapped. Unsellable products would
be sold at much discounted rate.
Standard modules General Ledger,Sales & Receivables,Purchase &
Payables,Inventory and Warehouse management are
implemented.Additional functionalities are created in order to employ
budgets based on Customer, Sales person. An algorithm is developed
and customized into Navision which summarizes the Inventory based

on (Sales budget V/S Inventory) giving an insight on MRP for 21
weeks ahead.

Accomplishment The main objective of this project was to implement the standard
functionalities of Navision and also customizing Navision solution with
respect to the UNMIK Railways requirement.

Accomplishment City Group is a company, which mainly conducts surveys based on the
customer’s requirement. Further surveys are classified under different
groups such as (Educational, Promotional etc).
Survey is carried out through Internet telephony by a group of people
who are assigned to call a limited no of clients per day.
The Relationship Management module in Navision is very much
suitable for this purpose and also gives the detailed information
pertaining to the survey such as
a. Establishing the internet telephony.
b. Calling duration and the associated calling cost.
c. Recording and maintaining the details pertaining to survey
questions for every caller in relation with the client.
d. Maintaining log entries.
e. Maintaining sales person’s statistics etc.
The Relationship module is totally integrated with Sales & Receivables
and General Ledger. Using the Sales & Receivables invoice are raised
and posted for every customer.

The template is designed, to easily interface with any 3rd party application such as SAP, Oracle etc, to import the data from, process the data with in Navision and to provide with the dynamic E-Profit Analysis. The analysis is done on 3 parameters: 1. Dimension: Dimensional values such as Average Loan amount, Loan Spread, Loan Revenue, Saving Average Amount, Saving Spread, Saving Revenue, Financial Profit, Cost Amount, Cost Ratio etc. are dynamically incorporated as X-Axis co- ordinates. 2. Analysis View: Analysis view such as by Industry, by Credit Rank, by Branch and by Account etc. are incorporated as Y- Axis co-ordinates. The Analysis view further breaks down into 4 hierarchial levels where 0 being the top level and 3 being the bottom level. 3. Analysis Combination: Any type of views can be combined which results in combinational views such as (by Industry by Rank) (by Industry by Account) etc. Budgeting: This section will be used to forecast the analysis over a period based on the history of transactions. This section will be comprised of two parts namely 1. Stock: The actual transactions per customer. 2. Flow: The forecasted data, which is variable. 3.   • 6. Customer J-WEC (Phase-1 & Phase-2), JAPAN Role Played ERP Consultant Accomplishment 1. ETC Management (vertical developed and made proprietary for PBC) 2. Standard modules were implemented such as  Sales & Receivables  Purchase & Payables  General Ledger. ETC (Electronic Toll Cards). 3. Customizations are done based on the rules defined by the Electronic Toll Gate Company namely (Japan Highway - Kodan) for the processing of ETC Card Usage and ETC Card Management. A separate module is customized in order to suit the needs of ETC Card Management which includes managing ETC Cards with respect to  New ETC card registration.  Old ETC card Maintenance.  Validation on lost, stolen and damaged ETC cards and its usage.  Validation of ETC card against the vehicle inspection document, there by maintaining the data redundancy and data integrity. Sales & Receivables module is totally integrated with the ETC card management module in order to keep track of all the financial transactions based on the ETC card usage by a customer. Customer invoices and Credit memos are customized as against the standard functionality in order to suit the J-WEC requirement of customer invoicing and layout. Customer invoice is processed based on the monthly ETC card usage data sent by (JH-Kodan) and the printed format of invoice is issued to the customer. Also the Invoiced data is processed to be sent to the other factoring company namely (Mizuho) which is responsible to collect the payment from customer for the monthly ETC card usage. Data pertaining to collected and uncollected customer invoice is sent back to J-WEC which is accepted by the system to validate and automatically settle the customer payments as against the open customer invoice, failing which will result in Re-Invoice. The process of Data exchange is customized based on the rules defined by the (Japan Highway – Kodan). Also Membership Deposit, Contribution, Assessment, Insurance, Refund on retirement concepts were integrated. Invoice discount calculation is employed based on the membership hierarchy and introducer concept. Special services such as Health, Funeral, Flower, JRS (Japan Road Service) are also integrated.   • 7. Role Played ERP Consultant Accomplishment LaCie, Japan is basically a trade and a logistic company, mainly dealing with supply of computers and its peripherals. They import the products from US and UK and sell it to the distributors and also to the customers directly. Also in some cases they assemble BOM items in Fed-Ex and sell it as a main product. Consumption tax of 5% is levied on the total sales. Price protection is employed because of the fast changes in unit cost of the items especially in the hardware industry. Special discounts are also employed. FIFO costing is employed and revenue is recognized based on FIFO costing logic. Customization is done in the areas pertaining to Sales shipments. Automatic Voucher Numbers are generated which will be used to link the shipments between Fed-Ex and Lacie-Japan.CSV files will be generated by the system summarizing the shipments based on Ship- to code and Date of shipment. General Ledger, Sales & Receivables, Purchase & payables and Resource modules are implemented. • Implementation of FIFO based costing • Implemented this project in 2 weeks single handedly Project 14 Implementation of Dynamics NAVISION ERP (v3.6) Customer Hiestand, Japan Role Played ERP Consultant Accomplishment Hiestand is basically a trade and a logistic company, mainly dealing with supply of bread products to its customers in Japan. They import bread products from Malaysia, Germany, Austria etc and stock in their ware house and ship the stock to its customers in Japan. The business process is very unique with regard to the import of Items (Bread and its products) since it takes about 8 weeks for the Items to reach the Port and another two days to reach the actual ware house in Osaka. The purchase cost will be recognized even before the goods arrive into the port. Items in the port are handled by another company by the name NTR, which is responsible for re- assigning of LOT and dispatching the items to the warehouse. Custom clearance and Item handling charge for the products will be levied by NTR on monthly basis, which is known as collective invoice. On sales, Hiestand will supply the Items to its customers through NTR as its channel i.e. Hiestand will send the information to NTR asking them to ship the items to its customers. The information exchange between Hiestand and NTR is through the data exchange in a fixed format. Only after the customer sells the items, Hiestand will recognize the revenue i.e the sales order would be posted in navision to reflect the sales revenue before which only the inventory quantity would be recognized and tracked with respect to customer and its location. The entire business operation takes into account the lot number series with a strict expiry date validation on all products. The products which are damaged or expired will be scrapped. Unsellable products would be sold at much discounted rate. Standard modules General Ledger,Sales & Receivables,Purchase & Payables,Inventory and Warehouse management are implemented.Additional functionalities are created in order to employ budgets based on Customer, Sales person. An algorithm is developed and customized into Navision which summarizes the Inventory based 7 of 9

Survey is carried out through Internet telephony by a group of people who are assigned to call a limited no of clients per day. The Relationship Management module in Navision is very much suitable for this purpose and also gives the detailed information pertaining to the survey such as a.
