Project #3: Ariba Procurement Solutions Implementation
• MasterData extract:
- Worked on master data extraction from SAP to the Ariba network.
- Enhanced the standard Ariba program to meet various business needs that was not met by
the standard.
• Outbound implementation:
- Developed multiple custom programs and BADI implementations that would export data
in the XML format that was in turn consumed by the Ariba network. Outbound
communications mainly comprised of PO / PR related data.
• Inbound implementation:
- Enhanced the standard Ariba program to accommodate invoice status as per the
client’s business needs.
- Worked on international tax calculations for invoices received from the Ariba
network through Vertex tool.

new version.
• Fix standard / custom programs with inconsistencies through SAP Notes
implementation and source code edit respectively. Technical Skills used:
• Used in-house probe tool to identify the objects that require adjustments.
• Used SPDD to adjust the dictionary objects and ensured compatibility with the new
version.
• Used SPAU to adjust reports and function modules.
• Used split-screen editor to import the enhancements (relevant) found in the previous
versions.

Responsibilities:
• Interacting with the client as well as the functional consultant and solving the
business needs through technical solutions. Worked on an onsite full cycle
implementation of SAP HR module.
• Providing apt technical solution for the client’s business needs.
• Analysing and interacting with other business entities and reassuring that no
interdependency conflicts occur.
• Ensuring that all the custom developed SAP applications are not performance
intensive thus allowing multiple parallel user activity.

• Analysing the existing objects and executing the necessary adjustments to ensure
stability in the newly upgraded system; worked on an offshore upgrade project (ECC
4.7c to 6.0).

actions if the objects are found to be.

Responsibilities:
• Analysing the key areas where ABAP integration with the functional modules occurs.
• Developing the ABAP integration content through screen captures and code snippets.
• Develop the content in multiple languages and ensure that the language conversion/
transition is executed without any discrepancies.
• Ensuring that the developed content is accessible across the globe.
VWR, Coimbatore – Customer support executive, SCM (May ’10 to April’11)
• Was part of the supply chain management team. Dealt with customer queries and
sales support.
• Was part of the SAP Testing team during the implementation phase.
