• Grown production from <35 bits repaired a week to over >125 a week while reduction OT usage
and compensation cost.
• Using lean manufacturing principles to increase bits repaired per artisan per week by nearly
200%
• Grew from supporting only 4 stock points in STX region to support stock points from Hobbs, NM
to Stafford TX totaling 8 and producing more remanufactured PDC drill bits than any other BHI
facility
• Reduced turn-around time from >14 days to <5 days on average maintaining excellent quality
and increased customer satisfaction and confidence of product and service.
• Maintained an excellent HSE program having no recordable incidents. Inherited and fostered an
excellent culture of 11 years of HSE excellence. Made substantial progress with continuous
improvements.
• Increased employee ability to work safety and efficiently by changing nearly all production
process increasing capacity, reducing 65% of lifts, designing ergonomically work carts and
stations as well as better utilizing existing equipment such as paint booths and overhead
ventilation systems. Making the work safer using 3demensional thinking and apllying intelligent
solutions.

2. C.C.A.D. (01/13-08/13) Structural/Electrical Branch Chief

controls over organizational unit at Corpus Christi Army depot the largest rotary wing aircraft

workload requires.

sustainable to execute workload effectively and safely with minimal rework and the highest
quality in the industry

of 12 MH-53E helicopters
