Multi-level Lot Streaming Production Planning
· Examined a tactical production balancing problem we encountered in factory producing discrete equipment.
· Formulated the problem with multi-level BOM structure as IQP and reformulated an equivalent but much
more simplified model by examining the properties of the system.
· Derived properties to help solve the problem.
· Proposed an enhanced variable neighborhood search algorithm to solve large-scale problems.
· Developed a lower bound and designed an exact algorithm to derive the lower bound to measure the perfor-
mance of the algorithm.
· Verified the correctness and effectiveness of the reformulation and algorithm by numerical experiments.

Housing Price Prediction Based on LASSO with ADMM Algorithm
· Built a housing prediction model based on LASSO and Ames Housing data Set.
· Programmed on Python to analyze and process the data set with statistics knowledge.
· Used CVX in Matlab to solve the optimization problem and designed an ADMM based algorithm for LASSO
to massively improve the efficiency of regression.
· Ranked top 10% on Kaggle and got high scores on the course Probability and Statistics.
