• A study of an active control technique based on boundary layer injection for the size reduction of the separation bubble
caused by SWBLI
• Investigations were carried out by varying parameters such as injection location, injection ratio and injection angle.
Numerical Study on HCCI Combustion, Vellore Institute of Technology Jan 2019-April 2019
• A zero-dimensional model was prepared using Cantera, a Matlab software, and was used to study chemical kinetics of the
fuel combustion in an HCCI engine.
• The results were used to obtain a comparative study between multiple output parameters while also determining the effect of
variation in parameters such as engine speed, intake charge temperature, etc. on performance and efficiency.
