These tips will make your résumé easier to
  read and/or scan into an employer's data
  base

 Use 8-1/2- x 11-inch white or off-white
  résumé paper

 If you must mail your résumé, put it in a
  large envelope matching the paper

 Print only on one side

 Use non-decorative fonts
 Choose one font and stick to it
 Avoid italics, script, and underlined words

 Do not use horizontal or vertical
  lines, graphics, or shading

 Do not fold or staple your résumé

 BE CONSISTENT!
  Keep dates, titles, and locations in
  the same place for each entry
  Use the same
  font, spacing, bolding, etc.
  If you lead off with your title, do so
  throughout
  You want to make it easy for the
  employer to read

  Two pages maximum, but one is
  even better

  If you do use more than one
  page, include your name and "page

  marketing piece, NOT an
