Carrie McCrimmon has over 20 years of experience in human resources and accounting. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Seattle Pacific University and a certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Washington. Her most recent role was as Benefits and Leave Administrator at Neighborcare Health, where she managed employee benefits, leaves of absence, and open enrollment. Prior to that, she spent over 10 years as Associate Director of Human Resources at Seattle Pacific University, where she oversaw benefits, compliance, employee relations, and wellness programs.
O presente artigo tem por finalidade expor as experiências musicais
vivenciadas em um contexto escolar pelos alunos do curso de Música – Licenciatura da
Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto que, dentro do Projeto de Estímulo à Docência
(PED), atuam em escolas de Educação Básica com subprojetos na área de Música. Para
tanto, apresenta duas concepções para a inserção da música no processo de ensinoaprendizagem,
destacando o trabalho de criação de um grupo de percussão na escola,
que necessitava de um trabalho musical capaz de dar credibilidade à construção do
saber por meio da atuação conjunta de todas as áreas do conhecimento. Apresenta
também alguns resultados alcançados ao longo do processo de inserção da música no
espaço escolar.
