Lk. 15:11-31 Then He said: "A certain man had two sons. "And the younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.' So he divided to them his livelihood. "And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. "But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. "Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. "And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything. "But when he came to himself, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 'I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, "and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants."' "And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. "And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.' "But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. 'And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; 'for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' And they began to be merry. "Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. "So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. "And he said to him, 'Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.' "But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. "So he answered and said to his father, 'Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. 'But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.' "And he said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. 'It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.'"

Boundary is a very important topic. When I have received various trainings, this topic will always be mentioned. But how do we use God’s words to explain this matter, whether God has given us enough wisdom, we just have to find out the content in it, and then implement it accordingly. I believe that God’s words must be more flexible and appropriate than the things of the world, and can enable us to live in God’s will.

"Acceptable" is such a loose term, so it's hard to say what is "acceptable" for any given person. After all, everyone is a different individual and their situations and maturity will vary greatly. Something that is acceptable for one person may not be acceptable for another.
Also keep in mind 1 Corinthians 10:23 (NIV), which says, "'I have the right to do anything,' you say—but not everything is beneficial. 'I have the right to do anything'—but not everything is constructive." We have many freedoms through Christ, but that doesn't mean that everything will be healthy or good for you.

If someone asks you why you don’t believe in God, then there is a similar question, that is, why you should believe in God. Many questions are related to the current religious world. The polluted theology when we run church activities, is it in line with the Bible? Are we able to tolerate other people’s suggestions? Whether what we teach has something to do with real life? Do we no longer do continuous follow-ups after we finish teaching? Until those points produce the desired effect, let’s discuss these in depth.
This is a study of Jesus being no respecter of persons. He treated all people with equal respect and care and did not have any prejudice against certain people that made Him treat them differently.

This is the third sermon in the iWitness series. The first four topics are lumped together as "pre-evangelism." Before gaining agreement on the Bible's reliability and authority, quoting Bible verses may not prove persuasive. This sermon is a more logical and philosophical argument seeking to answer the question, is it logical to conclude that the God who exists is the God revealed in the Bible?

When something bad happens in the world, Christians will say that this is a thing done by the devil, but is it really the case? Is it the problem caused by the person's own behavior?
Why becomes this way, it’s because everyone says that God is love, then what is love? According to the definition of the worldly love, everything should be nice, and it will never be thought to have anything to do with disasters.
So if God cause this disaster, then, it’s hard to justify it. So we say that all these bad things are the actions of the devil and have nothing to do with Jesus Christ or God. In this way, if we teach others to believe in God, then there is no problem at all. Because God is like a Santa Claus in the eyes of the world. You can ask him for any gift, and he will give it to you with no hesitation.

JANUARY 4, 2015 -Thanksgiving worship message - The attitude of gratitude in your godly life.... THANK YOU LORD FOR EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE. GLORY TO YOU DEAR GOD!
This is an overview of some of the main points of what is being called a "hyper-grace" theology. It powerful truths that are out of balance with other parts of scripture. Hyper-grace theology can help people in some ways by emphasizing the incredible love and grace of God. Hyper-grace theology can also confuse and damage people because it seems to ignore the clear commands of the Bible to avoid sin, confess sins and "work out their salvation in fear and trembling" motivated and empowered by the love and grace of God.
Pray that the teachers of hyper-grace theology will find a biblically balanced way to help people encounter the most gracious, kind, generous, loving, compassionate Person the universe who also holds us accountable for how we live and will discipline us in love as a wise Father to bring us back to safety within godly living.
A373 true knowledge Not according to true knowledge, knowledge/true knowledg...franktsao4
When I read about true knowledge, I had a lot of doubts in my mind. What is true knowledge? Could it be that the knowledge I think is not true knowledge? What is the difference between true knowledge and the knowledge that ordinary people think? We will conduct in-depth research on the following topics. What is love god? What is knowing God? Am I loving God? From the analysis inside, we can clearly see that if it is not true knowledge, then we can clearly see that what is required is almost impossible for humans to achieve. However, if God's method is followed, which is true knowledge, then We can see that this is not such a difficult thing. Only by starting with God’s method can we achieve such a state. A373.
Knowledge makes people arrogant. This concept seems to be completely different from the world’s thinking. If I learn more, then I should know the breadth of knowledge. I should be like a learned person, and I should be more humble. But why the Bible said so, if this is a truth that violates the rules of the world. In this chapter, let us carefully look for the truth of the Bible for detail analysis.

This page will mention why the church has become secular. Let’s start with interpretation of the Great Commandment as an example to understand that doing so will lead to love of God, love of others. And how we cannot do our best in worldly, because of this error, it caused no churches obey GOD’s word, lost God’s blessings, and was assimilated by the world, and finally lost salvation.

Weak Christian? sacrifice oneself, fight with all one's strength Is it bibl...franktsao4
We can see many Christians in the world, they are competing with each other to read the Bible and pray, and participate in various activities of the church. They are deeply afraid of being criticized by others, because they feel that if they are criticized, they will not be able to glorify God, but what peace do they have? How about joy? The reason after careful study is that although they are already nominal Christians, they have never entered into God’s truth. As a result, they use the world’s thinking to do God’s works, but as a result, they are not God’s children both inside and outside. It’s really hard work!
Mt 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Mk 16:15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
Act 1:8 "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
Mt 13:15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.'
Tit 2:11-14 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
Act 20:35 "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive."
Rom 8:5-8 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Rom 12:1 I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
Act 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
Heb 2:3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him.
Jn 12:42-43 Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
Col 3:1-2 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
Mt 17:20 So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.
2. Restoring the Erring: Lesson 3
Restoring the One that has Gone
Astray!
2Cor 5:18-20 Now all things are of God, who
has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus
Christ, and has given us the ministry of
reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ
reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing
their trespasses to them, and has committed to
us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are
ambassadors for Christ, as though God were
pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's
behalf, be reconciled to God.
3. We have indeed already come along
ways in our study together!
•We have seen “the realization” that one
can go astray and “the recognition” that
one has gone astray, so today we want to
look at how we are to help “restore”
them!
•It is clear, in the pages of the Bible that
Jesus came to bring “Restoration” to a
lost and dying world!
•Jesus claim so that He might restore us
back to God again!
4. Today we will be applying what I would
like to call
“The Three Keys of Restoration!”
• Before we begin our points let’s define what
it means to restore and what is restoration!
• Restore = return to a former condition,
place, or owner; repair or renovate; bring
back (Oxford Univ. Dict.)
• Restoration = the action of returning
something to a former condition, place, or
owner (Oxford Univ. Dict.)
5. When we come into this world we
do so in a perfect & upright state!
Eccl. 7:29 Behold, this alone I found, that God
made man upright, but they have sought out
many devices
•As we live our lives we become corrupted
along the way, by sin!
•Rom. 3:12 They have all turned aside; They
have together become unprofitable; There is
none who does good, no, not one."
•Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short
of the glory of God,
6. I. The Key of Love!
•I believe these keys are best used in this order!
Everything is nothing without love!
•1 Cor. 13:1-3 Though I speak with the tongues of
men and of angels, but have not love, I have
become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And
though I have the gift of prophecy, and
understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and
though I have all faith, so that I could remove
mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And
though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor,
and though I give my body to be burned, but have
not love, it profits me nothing.
7. We are to preach & teach the truth, but
we must do so “in love!”
Eph 4:15-16 but, speaking the truth in love, may
grow up in all things into Him who is the head--
Christ-- from whom the whole body, joined and knit
together by what every joint supplies, according to
the effective working by which every part does its
share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of
itself in love.
•When we love someone we will do everything
in our power to help them and not hurt them!
(1 Jn. 3:16-18)
•Biblical love is to seek the highest good of
another!
8. II. The Key of Law!
•We need to keep in mind that this next key
is “equally” important! It is not one without
the other, but the combination of them
working together!
•I once was told by an elder that they were
looking for someone to preach the “love of
Christ” and not the “law of Christ” and I
simply asked him this question, “How can we
understand the love of Christ, if we neglect
the law of Christ?”
9. God’s love is seen through His laws!
•It is because of the love of God that He has given
us laws to govern our lives!
•Pr 3:11-12 My son, do not despise the chastening
of the LORD, Nor detest His correction; For whom
the LORD loves He corrects, Just as a father the
son in whom he delights.
•The law of God is designed to “help us” & not to
“hurt us!”
•A child is given rules/laws by their parents because
they love them & want what is best for them! Laws
are to protect us!
10. God’s love & law can not be separated!
They are not mutually exclusive, they can’t stand
alone!
•Joh 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My
commandments.” Joh 14:21 "He who has My
commandments and keeps them, it is he who
loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by
My Father, and I will love him and manifest
Myself to him." Joh 14:23 Jesus answered and
said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep
My word; and My Father will love him, and We
will come to him and make Our home with him.
11. Because we love the ones that have
gone astray, we will taken to God’s law
on their current condition!
Js. 5:19-20; 2 Pet. 2:20-22
•God is a God of justice & that requires
governing laws!
•Now, we are not saved by obeying laws,
but we learn to obey the laws of God
because we are saved! (Rom. 6:14-18)
12. III. The Key of Long-suffering!
•I have found that this last point is often very
difficult to fulfill, if you have people you have
problems!
•The “key” is is for us to see past the problems to
the potential! This is indeed what God does!
•It is one thing to have to suffer, another to
have to do it long and yet we are to learn to do
this willingly!
•2Ti 4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season
and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort,
with all longsuffering and teaching.
13. An example of this can be seen in the
show House Hunters: Renovations !
•In this show people are looking to buy their
dream home, but because they can not
afford to go out and buy a new one, they
buy one in that is in desperate need of
repairs!
•They then must but in the needed work to
turn it into their dream home!
•They must learn “to see past the problems
to the potential” in the home!
14. We must learn to work with the
fallen even though it is often difficult
& time consuming!
•It is important that we do not give up on
them!
•“The difference between a winner and a loser
