• Access the ‘Tricks of the Trade’ module on Blackboard.
• Use at least one online resource for teaching Research Methods.
• Understand some of the benefits of using OER’s to teach Research
Methods
• Evaluate the effectiveness of using OER’s to teach Research
Methods.

Your task:
Go to the ‘Tricks of the Trade’ module in Blackboard.
• Click on ‘Teaching Resources’.
• Choose one of the resources and briefly write down the answers to
following 3 questions:
1. How easy was the resource to use?
2. What are the benefits/disadvantages of using this resource?
3. Would you use this resource with your students?
Be prepared to feedback your findings to the rest of the group. You
have 15 minutes to complete this task.
