UK's three leading magazine publishers - George Newness, Odhams Press and Fleet way
Publications - who came together with the Mirror Group to form the International Publishing
Corporation (IPC). And IPC Magazines was created five years later, in 1968.

They produce mostly gossip and rock based magazines such as NME; it includes new releases,
interviews, backstage coverage and entertainment. It is a fairly mainstream magazine.

My magazine’s audience would be for anyone who enjoyed listening to RnB and Rock music, these
are quite mainstream genres of music however there aren’t many RnB magazines around so my
magazine would start off fairly niche and expand into one of the main players.
