This course:
Introduces you to the power and functionality of IBM SPSS Statistics as a data analysis tool and
covers standard exploratory statistical analysis of data. The course is designed to get you
comfortable with using SPSS and will cover:
- Accessing data entry and importing from other media.
- Manipulating data to create new data fields.
- Presenting data in tables and graphs for analysis and reporting.
- Exploratory data analysis.

2. Target audience:
Anyone new to SPSS who would like to improve their ability to understand and report on data with
the reliability of statistical significance to supporting their results.
Prerequisites:
Computer literate. Experience of working in the Windows environment and an understanding of the
key Windows features.
