Learning”
The teachers of Matapat Elementary School have
explored various measures to help students in the class
raise their academic performance. As a teacher in
Mathematics, you put premium on effective teaching
strategies and quality formative assessment to help
your students bring out the best of them.
Your most recent plan is to use the results of the
formative assessment of the students in identifying their
misconceptions and their other learning needs about
the latest topic. You will use statistics, specifically
measures of central tendency , in analyzing the results.
To validate the results of your study, you invited your
principal, subject coordinator and co-teachers to listen
to your 10 minutes presentation. The clarity and
accuracy of your use of central tendency and other
statistical procedure will convince them of the
significance of your study.
