ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
First of all praise to Allah for 10 weeks I undergo my internship that begins on 29 June
2015 until 4 September 2015 successfully without any problem and I finally managed to
complete my industrial training report.
A special thanks to Mr. Lee Soo Kiat, Administrative Manager of NP Leakless (M) Sdn.
Bhd. and also my supervisor for giving me the opportunity to complete my engineering industrial
training at the company. I would like also to thanks Ms. Chan for the guidance and be caring
since the first day I came in until the last day of internship. Special thanks also go to Mr. Tiong,
Head of Maintenance Department and Mr. Zuwari his technician for provided the necessary ideas
and steps which offers a professional working experience which allow me to utilize my education
skills while gaining valuable working experience. Besides, I would like to thanks to all staff at
NP Leakless (M) Sdn Bhd for made my 10 weeks of training time very valuable.
I also want to thanks to my internship fellow, Mohd Hafiz from International Islamic
University Malaysia and Ehsan Bairuni from Industrial Practical Institute, who always help
during my internship program and sometimes train me with something new knowledge that
strongly related to the mechanical engineering. I am very sure that all this valuable knowledge
that I got from the whole program are important for me in developing myself skills and softskills.
Besides that, it also will give me a lot of advantage maybe during my final year project or after I
have graduated.
Lastly, I would like to thanks to my parents and friends for their supporting me during the
internship time.

ABSTRACT
Engineering industrial training is a course that entitled all students to have their training in
their chosen industry. The period given to all students to finish their industrial training are 10
weeks which starting from 29 June, 2015 until 4 September 9, 2015. This training objective are to
exposed students regarding the real life of engineering field in industry and also to develop
student skills practically as their studies for 3 years in classes theoretically. During the 10 weeks
all student works will be assessed every weeks by industry supervisor and then once again will be
assessed by university supervisor usually at week 7 and week 8.
I have my industrial training at NP Leakless (M) Sdn. Bhd. Located in industry regional
area Mergong, Alor Setar. This company run different type of gasket production from a simple
gasket and now have been advance forward in producing Original Equipment Manufacturer
(OEM) for motorcycle and automobile corporations. Besides be a supplier for the local
automobile and motorcycle corporations they also become a major export supplier for Indonesia,
Thailand, Philipines, Pakistan, and Vietnam.
In NP Leakless I was placed in maintenance department. In this department I will learn a
lot about machine that have in this company. It is maintenance job to assure that all machine in
the company are run in good condition and if there anything happen to the machine maintenance
will be repair the machine. Throughout the whole weeks I can get to learn in servicing machine,
repairing machine, disassemble machine parts, run machine, refill lubricant oil, pump grease and
others that related to maintenance works.
