2. Characters
• Since this is a hybrid of two genres, our unique selling point comes from
our main character.
• A psychopathic priest: Priest who is intent on bringing justice in his own
way to avenge on God’s behalf.
• Suspected killer: Since the idea of a killer priest seems unimaginable, this
is the person police suspect to be responsible for the murders.
• News Reporter: To report what’s going on and provides voiceover for the
trailer.
• Ex-Homicide detective: Man comes out retirement to solve one more case
• Other characters: Several victims (12in total with one main victim)

3. Audience (Target Market)
• The target market is 15-28 and this film is mainly aimed at young
adults and obviously people who like horror and/or thriller films.
• We expect that this film would appeal more to males and people
not deeply committed to the catholic faith as they may find the plot
offensive.
• We are also targeting:
o People who are into blood and gore
o And people who enjoy a good plot twist which may have
contradictions within it.

4. Settings
• The settings will be important in display our genre
o Confession booth and the outside of a Church/Chapel
(possible the inside as well tbc.)
o A Basement (Showing physical plotting evidence that the
priest would be using.)
o The general outside area to display a dystopian future and the ensuing
chaos.
o A room for the news reporter to be in when reporting the news.

5. Themes
• This film has a unique theme as the priest commits these crimes as his
form of justice, however it isn’t a good v evil but more of hell on earth
because there’s evil all around but the one place of sanctity and safety is
more dangerous than being outside amongst the chaos.
• We also have the theme of crumbling society as since this is a dystopian
future crime rates increase to record levels and the psychopathic priest is
just one of many examples of people taking the law into their own hands.

6. Styles, Iconography and Narrative
• Our film follows similar styles to those of other stalker/slasher
horror films, a psychotic killer, weapons, blood etc . In horror
films there are a lot of close-ups in order to capture emotions
and reactions of the characters which we will feature in the
trailer.
• What makes our films stand out is the killer himself as for an
audience this is not what you would expect in a typical killer
which we hope will attract more people as this has never
been done before
• .The narrative will be a voice over that will come come from
the news reporter which we intend to use in our trailer to
depict the chaos and destruction that the city is in.
