Art of the
Renaissance
and Baroque
Periods
Renaissance- was the period of
economic progress
-created a form of art or
painting whose expression,
manifestation and illustration was
fully dependant on cultural
awareness being reborn.
The level of learning and the
exponential leaps artists took in this time
in the 14 th and 17 th centuries was
unheard of. The heart of
the Renaissance took place for the most
part in Italy but was not confined there
by any means. Many other European
countries also had a revival of the arts all
their own.
Architecture- was
characterized by its
symmetry and
balance.
How to define
Renaissance art?
People who successfully came
up with now
renowned Renaissance work of
arts wanted to express and show
the joy and beauty of human
nature and depict life's pleasures
through artistic pieces.
Renaissance arts and paintings are
more lifelike than most other types of
art and paintings because the
painters and artists studies the nature
of human beings, their perspective,
and the differences in the way that
they see things.
The result of every single piece
of Renaissance art is rare,
exceptional and unique to the
painter. As a result of such
perspective, Renaissance art often
has more depth and emotion than
any other types of art.
The people who lived by Renaissance
art
