When Toyota decided to go to locations where the customer
shops rather than the traditional dealership model, it
commissioned the Red Design Group to design the first
Toyota Shopping Centre Retail Store at Rouse Hill.
The interior is inspired by the product, bringing the curved
shape and form of the vehicles into the overall interior
and joinery items of the showroom The space delivers
a welcoming environment where the store becomes the
canvas for the product and the customers can learn, view
and interact with the vehicles through the use of kiosks and
digital screens.

Positioned in the art grunge scene of Melbourne’s iconic
Brunswick Street, Fitzroy, Wine Republic is a new concept
store redefining the humble bottle shop.
With the rise of the inner city craft markets and Fitzroy’s
established reputation for street art, our aim was to
introduce an arts focus incorporating sculptural talking
points, illustrations and visual merchandising.

Our brief was to elevate the Rogerseller brand
beyond the reach of competitors, redefining the
bathroom showroom market while retaining
existing, and attracting new customers.
We wanted to play on the juxtaposition of an
urban grunge setting in industrial Richmond,
inserting a layer of slick design into the historic
building envelope and functional venue that is
welcoming, luxurious and comfortable.

that their client wanted to create an upmarket, boutique-
style pharmacy. The client sought to emulate the European
apothecary and target a discerning, style-conscious
customer, delivering personalised prescriptions.

a new brand identity for New Academic Street (NAS) project
which will transform the heart of RMIT City campus by
creating new student facilities and retail and hospitality
offers. The result was a bold and exciting brand identity
complemented with a youthful and fun visual language which
appeals to the student demographics.

Our client wished to create
a more inviting and intimate
space, feeling Café Baci
was often overlooked due
to a lack of seating options
and confusion around the
demarcation of the Cafe and
Crown’s other precincts.
Honeycomb shaped anodised
aluminium light-fittings were
custom designed to foster an
intimate dining experience,
and the striking herringbone-
patterned feature wall gives
the Café’s entry point more
prominence.

Red Design Group worked closely with Zouki to create
a unique brand concept for St Vincent’s Hospital’s new
courtyard café. Named Courtyard 55, referencing the
location at 55 Victoria Parade in Fitzroy, Red designed the
interior and developed the brand and all branded assets.
Hospital staff, visitors and patients now benefit from an
extensive selection of delicious, healthy food created on
site by the Zouki team, which has an impressive food and
beverage program. The open kitchen provides fresh food
theatre where customers are able to have their order
freshly prepared.
