1. Recommendations to facilitate the access of young people from sensitive areas to e-
participation and e-democracy in analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of the different
dimensions of e-participation and e-democracy
For Youth organizations:
• Promote equality for access to digital tools for all citizens
• Increase supports communication between families and NGOs
• Develop tools for young people to facilitate their participation in public life - how to prepare CV,how
to prepare scholarship application, make a project etc.
• Educate and inform young people about the new Information Technologies and Communication,
institutions, events, media
For Policy makers and local, regional and national authorities:
• Be openminded in public life in order to create relationships between the people and the members of
the institutions
• Improve the quality of mass media through awareness
• Create spaces for active participation for all citizens
• The information must be the most important part of participation
• Create a web and digital tools site for each level of administration
• Make a subcommittee in direct contact with the government and youth
• Educate deputies themselves in the field of digital tools, communication, etc. ...
• Have the legislation in relation to e-platform
For European institutions and the European Parliament:
• Organize more meetings with MPs and young people to inform them about the future of Europe
• Develop digital tools to foster communication between European citizens
• Organize training for young people to teach them how to use digital tools
• Create a youth parliament / government to better involve young people in politics and democratic
life
• Create an evaluation of all organized activities for young people to receive feedback
• Organize large scale events for young Europeans for make the interaction of young people in Europe
• Create youth centers in rural areas to facilitate awareness and access of young people with fewer
opportunities in public life
