RE: Tracey Jackson
To whom it may concern,
Tracey Jackson has been a member of my team for 3 years as a full-time Chevron employee, and 2 years
as a contract employee. Tracey has been a key player in moving Chevron to a more standardized and
effective business continuity planning process. He has also been instrumental in the initial development
of and continued enhancements to an in-house BCP tool, CORA, which to date has been proliferated to
more than 80% of Chevron’s businesses. This tool has tremendously improved my team’s ability to
collect information quicker, allowing us to support a much larger customer base than ever before, and
to do so more proficiently. In essence, I am very dependent upon Tracey for my team’s success. He is my
most technically skilled team member and, more importantly, is conceivably the most experienced BCP
professional within Chevron.
Tracey has an excellent work ethic. I can call on him day or night and know he will respond immediately.
He’s dependable, reliable, and he has built a solid customer base due in large part to his passion for
business continuity and his commitment to do it right. Tracey has a very positive attitude and an
unwavering commitment to excellence. He is also willing to take on any assignment in any location
globally without hesitation and is, in fact, my most travelled team member.
Additionally, Tracey is one of the best trainers/facilitators that I’ve had the opportunity to work with. He
has a unique ability to know his audience and to articulate the BCP process at the level needed so that it
is easily understood, making his unique training style very successful. He has the ability to do the same
when meeting with high level management team members during BCP exercises. Tracey’s training and
testing/exercise skills are very characteristic of his passion around business continuity – he strives for
excellence and works to ensure his audience grasps the concepts he tries to convey, whether training
users on the process, testing recovery capabilities, or exercising an organization’s plan.
If you need any additional supporting information for Tracey, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Sharon Light
