5. freedom comes in bubbles...
bubbles are fragile and can disappear

6. we can codify freedoms and values in
law, rules, process ... and now code

7. sometimes the codification goes wrong
and ‘the system’ takes over

8. but codification gives longevity to
ideas, process and ways of working
