What are Ratings
• Rating are nothing but a ranking or classification given
to a product or service offered to its customers which
is based on comparative assessment of their quality,
standard or performance.
• Ratings and reviews are a key form of basic content
that customers, whether they’re B2B or B2C, actively
seek. For prospects, this type of information may be
accessed at point in the pre-purchase process. Post-
purchase, ratings and reviews provide customer
feedback for servicing current customers and attracting
future buyers.

• It is an evaluation of a service or product or
can be anything.
• A user review refers to feedback by the user
or consumer for a product or a service based
on her experience as user of the product.
• Popular sources of consumer reviews are e-
commerce site such as Zappos, Amazon, social
media sites such as trip advisior.

• It increase customer’s confidence before
going for any product or services.
• Past customer feedback increase future
consumer’s decision making process which
drives sales thus decrease product return.
• It help manufacture or sellers to work on
customer’s feedback to improve their product
and stay competitive in the market.
How to get positive online reviews
• Pay attention to the reviews you already got
from your customers- try to resolve or work
on them ASAP.
• Consider asking for reviews after you offer
your customer any product or services – it will
make customer feel that their opinions are
taken seriously.

through Facebook groups or twitter account of
your business and allow them to share their

• Respond quickly to bad reviews in most polite

free trail or a free upgrade to change their
perceptions. Avoid responding negative
reviews online it may backfire your company.
