The document analyzes and compares the water quality of four water samples - tap water, Stone Canyon Creek, Alamo River, and Red Hill from the Salton Sea. Key findings include: Alamo River and Red Hill have much higher levels of alkalinity, hardness, nutrients, suspended solids, chloride and sulfate compared to tap water and creek water. A coagulation/flocculation treatment using aluminum sulfate was able to significantly reduce turbidity in a mixture of Alamo River and Red Hill water. The water quality of Alamo River and Red Hill need urgent improvement to meet EPA standards.
