Start with your Creative Question and randomly
pick one of the random prompts (cards) to
trigger a fresh train of thought
E.g. “HMW enhance street safety ” and “Airplane”
Consider the randomly chosen word and quickly
agree on a few key attributes
E.g. an Airplane i) flies through the air, ii) moves along
predefined routes and iii) has an autopilot feature
Individually and silently, take 5 minutes to
sketch or write down 5 ideas on how to solve
your CQ by applying key attributes of the
random prompt
E.g. how can flying through the air help enhance street safety?
Possible ideas: helicopter surveillance, carry your guardian angel
on your shoulder, safe overpass over dangerous area, fly
citizens out of danger area with helicopters, etc.
Wild and silly ideas will follow, determine the

E.g. the guardian angel idea is essentially about personalized
safety escort, so could each person that desires so request a
personal escort from a neighbor when going to the store during
