2. What is the Raindance Film Festival?
The Raindance Film Festival takes place in London and exhibits feature length films,
shorts and music videos from around the world.
Beginning in 1992, as well as showcasing work, seminars and workshops are also
held to inspire and share passion for film.
People who have attended Raindance include Christopher Nolan and Quentin
Tarentino and films that have premiered there include the UK premiere of ‘Pulp
Fiction’ and the short film, ‘Winter Light’.
3. Target Audience at Raindance
This is a screenshot from the media kit that I requested
from Raindance’s organsisers in order to collect
information for my secondary target audience research.
It states that most of their audience are males (60%).
This is reflected in my primary target audience research
as most people who I interviewed were males (7/11
participants).
The media kit also states that industry professionals
attend, whether it be actors, directors or producers.
This is also reflected in my primary target audience
research as the partcipants we interviewed were either
industry professionals, such as directors, or students
who were studying film.
