This recipe provides instructions for making ragi cookies using ingredients like ragi flour, brown sugar, cardamom powder, ginger powder, baking powder, butter or oil, and an optional egg. Ingredients
210 gms ragiflour
70 gms brown cane sugar
A pinch green cardamom powder Optional
3 gms of ginger powder Optional
3 gms baking powder
140 gmsbutter or margarine or oil
1 egg whisked Optional
Salt to taste
Procedure
In a pan mix the ragiflour and cardamom powder.
Roast the flour gently in a oven or hot plate until the color gets a wee bit darker.
In a bowlbreak an egg and whisk it.
Add the roasted ragiand sugar into it.
Mix well.Add the dry ginger and salt to it.
Add the butter / margarine or oiland mix well. It will look like a dark dough.

Make round ballsand flatten them in your palms.
Pre-heatthe oven for 5-7 minutes.
Take a baking tray , put butter paper on it. No need to grease it.
Place the biscuit roundelsan inch away from each other and bake for 8 minutes
at 180 degree Celsius.
