These include dating websites that isolate users by race, a white person using a racial slur to refer to a black friend, a group of well-dressed black kids being deemed "sketchy" for their appearance, disapproval expressed of an interracial couple showing affection, making negative generalizations about all black people based on one person's actions, and expressing discomfort sitting next to someone who looked Arab on a plane.

Dating websites on the Internet have now isolated their sites by using race
and other stereotypes. “BlackPeopleMeet.com” and even through religion,
such as, “ChristianMingle.com.”
I saw a tweet that a friend of mine made that used the “N” word when
referring to their buddy. The one who said the “n” word was actually white,
and the person he called the “n” word was African American. When did that
become okay?
The people that I work with radioed that a group of well-dressed kids looked
“sketchy.” Well what a surprise, the group of kids were African American!
And because of that, they were accused almost immediately of looking
suspicious.
I overheard a girl that I noticed from one of my classes that she saw a couple
holding hands, but ne hand was white and the other black. She was speaking
animatedly to her friend of her disgust and displeasure of the public sign of
affection between the two of them.
My own sister said something the other day that lit me up. She had managed
to group “all black people” into one category, just because of one negative
instance that ONE African American had done. Apparently a guy had reached
for her in an unkind fashion and she was immediately distrustful of “all black
people” now.
On my Facebook, I saw a status that discussed someone’s discomfort in the
past when they had the misfortune of sitting beside an “Arabian-looking”
man while on an airplane.
