A cultural route planning training was held by Folkuniversitetet in Uppsala, Sweden on October 19th, 2018. The full-day training included a lecture and practical workshop on creating new cultural tourism routes based on cultural footprints. The goal was to strengthen competencies in culture and tourism fields. Seven representatives from the local tourism sector participated. The training director said they received important feedback to incorporate into their Nordplus Adult project, which aims to strengthen competencies in culture and tourism through informal education on creating cultural footprint routes over two years.Q4 adhd press release
Folkuniversitetet developed an innovative toolkit for vocational education and training (VET) providers to support quality management systems for students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The toolkit includes quick assessment tools to help VET institutions evaluate and improve their programs for ADHD learners. Testing of the toolkit was positively received. The toolkit was created as part of the Q4ADHD project, funded by the Erasmus+ program, to develop quality assurance standards in VET for students with special education needs focusing on ADHD.

This document summarizes a 2-year project called "Human Rights in Practice" that was funded by the European Commission's DAPHNE programme. The project aimed to prevent violence related to harmful practices by including awareness training on human rights and the Istanbul Convention in language training for newly arrived immigrants in participating countries. This benefited newly arrived immigrants in language training, language training center staff, and immigrant NGO staff. The results were a new approach to training immigrants on human rights upon arrival, expanded language training to include human rights awareness and training, and new cooperation between language centers and immigrant NGOs on human rights issues. Fatima conference post release
An international conference on violence, honor, and revolution towards gender equality took place in Örebro University on April 26-27. The conference focused on human rights issues related to violence against women, including honor crimes and harmful practices. It was attended by 175 delegates from over 15 countries. The conference featured performances, speeches, and a film on topics of gender, honor, and violence. It concluded with a panel discussion on revolution and violence.

Graça Gerardo assumes the presidency of ACAPO National Board, succeeding Ana Sofia Antunes. Around 30 ACAPO board members and staff attended training on fundraising. Around 40 ACAPO leaders attended a two-day session to improve management skills and efficient institution management.
