Quickr: What Is It Good For? Use Cases from STS and Our Clients
Quickr can be used as a file sharing system, intranet, or extranet. It allows users to access and share files via a web browser or Office connectors. As a file sharing system, it offers more security than a typical shared drive by allowing custom access permissions to different folders for different users. Organizations can use it to securely share policies, calendars, documents, and databases. It also offers additional templates and apps that can provide functionality like workflows, project management, and more.

- #3 LISA Just to give you some background on who we are and how we developed our expertise on BlackBerry – We are an information technology consulting company based in Atlanta in our fourth year of business. We have a broad in house skill set, but our deepest areas of expertise are around Lotus Notes and BlackBerry. Our consultants have an average of 12 years experience with Notes and more than six years experience with BlackBerry. We cover all aspects of Lotus Notes and BlackBerry – administration and troubleshooting, custom application development and integration. We have some of the only certified BlackBerry resources in the southeastern United States, which is important, because obviously our people have to be good technically. However, we also attract and cultivate client focused resources. We want our technical staff to approach your issues from the point of view of solving a business problem and then communicating the solution. It’s important to us that we leave clients with a better understanding of the platform when we leave than they had when we arrived. We are also a certified woman-owned business, which is not a reason to do business with us in an of itself, but it definitely is a plus for organizations that work with the government and have targets they are trying to reach. One final point to mention, we are RIM partners, or BlackBerry Alliance Members, and trust me when I say that is not an easy thing to get! The contract alone is about 200 pages.
