The student's film poster uses conventions from other films such as The Cabin in the Woods and House at the End of the Street by positioning images, credits, and titles in similar areas and making the poster portrait oriented. The student developed the poster by including three characters instead of one, repositioning the slug line and release date for focus, and layering numbers over photographs. To challenge conventions, the student used a red filter over the entire image, a textured bulky font for the title, and included sequences of numbers blended over the poster.
