The filmmakers learned a lot from shooting their preliminary piece that helped improve their final film. For the preliminary, they did not properly research cameras and lighting, resulting in some out of focus and shaky shots with dark faces. However, for the final piece they studied cameras, used a tripod, added two lights, and test lit shots to achieve better quality. They also spent more time editing the final film, applying effects and carefully ensuring only intended audio was used. This led to an improved end product compared to the preliminary.
