What have you learnt about technologies from the
process of constructing this product?

2. INDESIGN
I used InDesign to create my Contents page and Double Page Spread.
As I have not previously used InDesign the software was only similar
with its relation to Photoshop. I have learnt how to correctly size text
boxes so that they are all the same size. It also allowed me to import
pictures that I had taken directly into my document making it easy to
resize and edit the brightness or contrast of the image

3. BLOGGER
Similar to InDesign I had not previously used Blogger. I have learnt many
things by using blogger such as how to add pictures onto the blog. The
biggest thing I learnt from blogger was embedding Presentations and
video recording into my blog. An example of this is Prezi which I have
used as a interactive creative way of presenting the work I have done. In
addition I have learnt how to embed videos and other forms of electronic
methods onto blogger.

4. PHOTOSHOP
Photoshop was the only software I was familiar with as I have used it on
many different occasions. It was used to create my Front cover for my
magazine. I have not learnt anything new from using this technology.
Illustrator was used to create the logo for my magazine (
masthead), I have learnt much from illustrator such as how to
create soundwaves using lines and recolouring and
rearranging letters.

5. POWTOON
Powtoon was used to present some of work. It allows for very good
looking and professional looking presentations with great animations. I
have learnt how to use animations correctly as well as how much time I
should add in each frame depending on the amount of text that is
present. I also learnt how t use pre made templates and edit them so
that I can add my own text and information.

6. PHOTOGRAPHY
In a class project we were introduced to the photography studio where we learnt many things
about photography, for example how to use the Nikon D7000 lighting and how to create different
effects and moods using this lighting. I used the photography room for all my pictures with the
main cover artist however I also used the iphone iSight camera which provided me with good
quality pictures that I could use as smaller pictures in my contents page. I was very confident using
taking pictures as I had done so for my cousins wedding only weeks before. For lighting I only lit
one side of my models face to create character in my pictures.
