Olivia used various new media technologies throughout the research, planning, construction, and evaluation of three media products for her A2 portfolio.
During research, she used YouTube to view existing documentaries, Prezi to present findings, and SlideShare to share PowerPoint presentations. Planning utilized Prezi, PowerPoint exported to SlideShare, and phone videos. Construction involved Premiere Pro for editing documentary footage, InDesign for magazine layout, cameras and microphones for recording, Photoshop for image editing, GarageBand for radio ad editing, and SoundCloud for sharing. Evaluation included video cameras to record audience feedback and findings.
