2. • Teen movies are targeted at teenagers and
young adults generally from the ages of 14 –
21. They age range is big but they manage to
target it by including similar and typical
teenage issues and hobbies, for example a lot
of teen films are based in the summer or
around parties and relationships.

3. • My subgenre was supernatural, there is a big
supernatural fan base aimed at teens due to the
twilight saga. My film was aimed at them because
it had similar traits in its story, for example it is
based on a vampire that hasn’t been found out
yet by his peers. Due to the supernatural
subgenre it attracts the younger teen audience
because of its fantasy aspect but also attracts an
older teen audience due to it having a mysterious
and unhuman story but still relating to similar
teen problems.
