Here is a summary of how I distributed my survey:
I distributed my survey online using Survey Monkey. This allowed me to easily create and share the survey link. I shared the survey link on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, asking my followers and contacts to participate. I also shared it in some online forums and groups related to podcasts, audio dramas, and crime fiction to try and reach a relevant audience. While Survey Monkey makes distribution easy, the main weakness is not having control over who exactly sees and responds to the survey. By sharing it broadly online I hoped to cast a wide net and get a decent number of responses, but I couldn't target a specific demographic. Overall it was a convenient way to conduct initial audience

Our target audience for the media thriller film is students and adults aged 15 and older. We conducted research into similar thriller films and the BBFC age rating system to determine that a 15 rating would be appropriate for our film due to its depictions of strong violence and threats to the protagonist. We created profiles of our target demographic groups, which are primarily working class individuals with spare time to socialize and watch films. Our psychographic profiling found that the ideal audience seeks thrilling and suspenseful experiences that keep them on the edge of their seats. Films with similar conventions would appeal to this group.

Mainly Male around the ages of 18-34 TV Shows I chose the types of TV shows I did for our typical audience member’s choice of shows because I think that it’s the type of programmes that they would watch. It includes a lot of supernatural themed TV shows which is why they would watch our product but they also have the added comedy/reality element that is slightly in some of the other shows so that is what would lead them to see our product as we have tried to make it look as realistic as possible so it gets in touch with peoples personal lives. Hobbies The types of hobbies I chose for my character are rather ranged but are all based around the media side of things. I think that a person who may be interested in our product would have read previous supernatural/crime books along with playing similar types of games and watching similar types of movies. They also are the type of person that likes to read, play and watch similar genres not too far off from a supernatural thriller such as horror. Films I think the types of films that they would like to watch would be mainly thriller and supernatural based ones but also horror. I think they would have started off by watching the supernatural thrillers but ended up swerving into the horror genre and finding that they actually like it. So they would be a very experimental person when it comes to the films they would watch. Restaurants I think they would attend many mainstream and popular restaurants with a rather close group of friends in which they would talk about things like ours to persuade there friends to go and see it or in fact persuade them to go with them as they may be a bit spooked out. Cheap but nice restaurants would be ideal for the type of person I think would be our audience for our product. Music I think that a typical audience member for our product would listen to less mainstream artists which I think would affect which types of movies they look to watch making them more open minded for trying anything like low budget media products. I also think that they would listen to a few odd artists that are very mainstream like Rihanna and Taylor Swift because it means that they also have a sense of adventure for what they listen to and watch.
