Question 3
1. QUESTION 3. WHAT HAVE YOU
LEARNED FROM YOUR AUDIENCE
FEEDBACK?
BY LEWIS BROUGHTON
2. PAGE 1
I asked many friends and family members to
comment on my film.
3. PAGE 2
Negative feedback
“I would have liked to see more of a romantic element”
I actually agree with this criticism and if I was to do the film again I would
ensure that I show more of a romantic element to the film. For example I
would focus on the relationship between the two main characters more.
“I would have like to see more of the characters”
I disagree with this as I feel that due to the fact the actors are unknown its
not going to make any difference whether their seen or not. In my opinion
I feel that it adds to the tension of the trailer as it seems secretive. You
don’t actually know the crime that has been committed.
“The lighting was too blue in areas”
This was due to filming of three different cameras. In theory I should of just
used one, however I didn’t always have access to the same camera. In
the programme I used to edit the footage I could add a film look to it and
consequently this made the shots I filmed with my iPhone look more blue
than the others.

I am really pleased with the feedback that I received from
the group of people within our target audience who we
showed our video to, as the majority of the comments
were all really positive. The few negative comments I
received were either due to things which I could not
control or a few mistakes that I made. For example the
inconsistency of cameras. I am happy that the audience
said it left them wanting to know more as this was
something I really wanted to achieve. I wanted to leave
the audience to their imagination to figure out what
happened. And I achieved this. Whilst there are a few
improvements I could have made I am overall very happy
with the outcome.
