Metrics is a hot topic within all fundraising fields. Measurement models have been established for monitoring the work of frontline fundraisers in order to assess the variety of activities performed as well as the schedule, pace, and outcomes of those activities. With this information in hand, choices can be made about which fundraising activities are most effective in achieving the desired donor behavior, most obviously giving.
The two primary contributors to poor quality in an organization are lack of involvement by management and lack of knowledge about quality. Without the right process and people, quality will be either a cost center or forgotten component by development. To achieve organizational success, enterprise quality must take action to build quality from top down.
Managers must accept responsibility for the quality practice within the organization and promote it across the organization. Everyone is responsible for quality, not just QA. The journey is fraught with obstacles – maturing the quality practice of an organization builds long term success with robust process and will train employees.

Game Changing Quality Strategies that Drive Organizational Excellencekushshah
Quality in the past was more related conforming to requirements, in lot of cases as it relates to engineering requirements and not necessarily enthusiastic customer experience. It was a very narrow definition of quality and focused more on Things Gone Wrong. Goal was to reach a level of customer accepted.
Quality definition today is much broader and winning in quality in this highly competitive environment requires deployment game changing quality strategies.
We will discuss how to infuse the voice of the customer into the way we design our products and services so that they exceed customer expectations. Organizations that engage all functions within enterprise and are customer centric will differentiate themselves from the rest of the competition. This presentation will provide an integrated roadmap on how to integrate proactive quality strategies such as Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) along with reactive strategies such as Six Sigma and control plans to achieve organizational excellence.
Discusses roadblocks to consider when undertaking a new project and how to prepare for barriers that might jeopardize the success, and engage the audience in discussion of challenges they have faced in trying to innovate and creative solutions to work around them.
So, you are an architect. What does this mean? How do you define yourself? Iasa has worked with more than 7,000 architects to create a common definition and understanding of IT Architecture as expressed by five pillars: Business Technology Strategy; Human Dynamics; Quality Attributes; IT Environment; and Design, and to create a common vocabulary to be shared amongst all IT Architects. Iasa has further defined IT Architecture as a profession backed by various levels of certification. This session discussed Iasa's Architectural Foundations material, offering a clear understanding of what IT Architecture is, and who IT Architects are. Watch, learn and validate what 30,000 architects worldwide are now sharing.

This meetup is for people working in unstructured data. Speakers will come present about related topics such as vector databases, LLMs, and managing data at scale. The intended audience of this group includes roles like machine learning engineers, data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, and PMs.This meetup was formerly Milvus Meetup, and is sponsored by Zilliz maintainers of Milvus.
Adjusting OpenMP PageRank : SHORT REPORT / NOTESSubhajit Sahu
For massive graphs that fit in RAM, but not in GPU memory, it is possible to take
advantage of a shared memory system with multiple CPUs, each with multiple cores, to
accelerate pagerank computation. If the NUMA architecture of the system is properly taken
into account with good vertex partitioning, the speedup can be significant. To take steps in
this direction, experiments are conducted to implement pagerank in OpenMP using two
different approaches, uniform and hybrid. The uniform approach runs all primitives required
for pagerank in OpenMP mode (with multiple threads). On the other hand, the hybrid
approach runs certain primitives in sequential mode (i.e., sumAt, multiply).
