Duties of
QA/QC
Position
- Responsible for all aspects related to Project quality assurance and
quality control.
- Completion of necessary documentation to verify the work performed
(WPS, WPQ).
- Ensuring that inspection requests are implemented.
- Ensuring that all test reports are verified to meet the contract
requirements.
- To ensure all materials delivered to site are inspected and conform to
specified requirements.
- Issue and administer Non Conformance Reports as necessary and ensure
follow up.
- Completion of final quality documentation in a presentable manner in
accordance with the conditions of contract.
- Responsible for overseeing / auditing of subcontractor Quality
Management systems.
- Controlling all inspection activities on site (Welding Inspection, Testing
the Welders, Dimensional Survey, NDE Operation (VT, RT, PT, MT, UT).
- Check welding equipment, weld preparation, fit up, cleanliness, preheat,
interpass cleaning, interpass temperature, PWHT, electrode storage and
handling etc
- familiar with international codes, Aramco standards, inspection and
testing requirement for pre- welding, in processes welding and post
welding activities.
- Carry out the inspections as per approved ITP, check sheets and related
procedures.
