2. There are many different media institutions and they all have their own style
and certain types of magazines that they each distribute.
I looked at a variety of different institutions to help me chose which one I
thought would be best to distribute my music magazine.
The institutions that I looked at were:
• IPC
• Bauer
• Future
• Emap
The one that I finally decided suited my magazine best was Bauer Media
company.

3. Bauer Media
Bauer Media is a division of the Bauer Media Group, Europe’s largest
privately owned publishing Group. The Group is a worldwide media
empire offering over 300 magazines in 15 countries, as well as
online, TV and radio stations.
Bauer Media owns more than eighty media brands which cover a wide range of
genres. These include heat, GRAZIA, Closer, MCN, FHM, Parkers, MATCH,
Magic 105.4, Kiss 100, Kerrang and Q.
Within the different brands that Bauer media owns there are many music
related magazines and radio stations. Therefore I thought my music
magazine would fit in best with Bauer.
