1. Q&A
Luke traces Christ’s line through Mary.
“Heli” (Luke 3:23) was not the father of Joseph (Matt. 1:16),
Luke 3:23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty
years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph,
which was the son of Heli,
Matt 1:16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary,
of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
and Joseph was descended from Solomon (Matt. 1:7),
Matt 1:7 And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat
Abia; and Abia begat Asa;
not “Nathan” (Luke 3:31).
Luke 3:31 Which was the son of Melea, which was the son
of Menan, which was the son of Mattatha, which was the
son of Nathan, which was the son of David,
Joseph was Heli’s “son” in the sense of a son-in-law (1 Sam.
24:16; 22:14).
2. 1Sam 24:16 And it came to pass, when David had made an
end of speaking these words unto Saul, that Saul said, Is
this thy voice, my son David? And Saul lifted up his voice,
and wept.
1Sam 22:14 Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said,
And who is so faithful among all thy servants as David,
which is the king's son in law, and goeth at thy bidding,
and is honourable in thine house?
[If Heli had no sons but only daughters,
we have Biblical precedent for this type of name substitution
(Num 27:11; 36:1-12).]
Num 27:11 And if his father have no brethren, then ye
shall give his inheritance unto his kinsman that is next to
him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be
unto the children of Israel a statute of judgment, as the
LORD commanded Moses.
Num 36:1-12 1 And the chief fathers of the families of the
children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh,
of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spake
before Moses, and before the princes, the chief fathers of
the children of Israel: 2 And they said, The LORD
commanded my lord to give the land for an inheritance by
lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded
by the LORD to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our
brother unto his daughters. 3 And if they be married to any
of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then
3. shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our
fathers, and shall be put to the inheritance of the tribe
whereunto they are received: so shall it be taken from the
lot of our inheritance. 4 And when the jubile of the
children of Israel shall be, then shall their inheritance be
put unto the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are
received: so shall their inheritance be taken away from the
inheritance of the tribe of our fathers. 5 And Moses
commanded the children of Israel according to the word of
the LORD, saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph hath
said well. 6 This is the thing which the LORD doth
command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying,
Let them marry to whom they think best; only to the family
of the tribe of their father shall they marry. 7 So shall not
the inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe
to tribe: for every one of the children of Israel shall keep
himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers. 8 And
every daughter, that possesseth an inheritance in any tribe
of the children of Israel, shall be wife unto one of the
family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel
may enjoy every man the inheritance of his fathers. 9
Neither shall the inheritance remove from one tribe to
another tribe; but every one of the tribes of the children of
Israel shall keep himself to his own inheritance. 10 Even as
the LORD commanded Moses, so did the daughters of
Zelophehad: 11 For Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and
Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were
married unto their father's brothers' sons: 12 And they were
married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son
4. of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the
family of their father.
There is no record in history, tradition, or Scripture of Mary
having a brother,
so by Jewish law, Joseph could be reckoned among Heli’s sons
because the genealogy was reckoned by the father, not the
mother.
Now this switch to the line of Mary is important
because it gives Jesus the right to the throne of David (Luke
1:32).
Luke 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of
the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the
throne of his father David:
Although the Davidic line of Kings comes down through
Solomon,
God cut off that line at Jeconiah (Matt. 1:11–12).
Matt 1:11-12 11 And Josias begat Jechonias and his
brethren, about the time they were carried away to
Babylon: 12 And after they were brought to Babylon,
Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;
Curse against Jechonias
Jechonias (also called Jehoiachin, Jeconiah, Coniah)
5. was an evil king and he was in the royal line of David
as it is mentioned in Matthew's genealogy.
God judged the royal line with a curse: no descendant of
Jechonias would sit as king of Israel (Jer 22:24-30).
Jer 22:24-30 24 As I live, saith the LORD, though Coniah
the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon
my right hand, yet would I pluck thee thence; 25 And I will
give thee into the hand of them that seek thy life, and into
the hand of them whose face thou fearest, even into the
hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the
hand of the Chaldeans. 26 And I will cast thee out, and thy
mother that bare thee, into another country, where ye were
not born; and there shall ye die. 27 But to the land
whereunto they desire to return, thither shall they not
return. 28 Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he
a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast
out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they
know not? 29 O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the
LORD. 30 Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man
childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no
man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of
David, and ruling any more in Judah.
This seemingly contradicts the promise that God made to David
that his son,
Solomon's seed would always be on the throne (1Chr 22:7-10)
6. 1Chr 22:7-10 7 And David said to Solomon, My son, as
for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name
of the LORD my God: 8 But the word of the LORD came
to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast
made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my
name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in
my sight. 9 Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall
be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his
enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I
will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days. 10 He
shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son,
and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his
kingdom over Israel for ever.
and also would make Jesus ineligible to the throne, as he was the
descendant of Jechonias.
But, since Jesus was only an adopted son
and not biological son of Joseph,
the curse did not affect his right to the throne as
he was not of Jechonias' seed.
This curse also indicates that the Messiah cannot have a
human father
since then the curse would pass onto him too.
7. Aliens:
Jude 1:6
6And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their
own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under
darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
Angels are spirits in their original state (Psa 104:4; Heb
1:7).
Ps 104:4 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming
fire:
Heb 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels
spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
When an angel mutates from the spirit world into physical
world, he permanently forfeits the spirit world.
These perverted angels can procreate with women and
animals (Gen 6:1-4; Lev 18:22-23).
Gen 6:1-4 1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply
on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were
fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3 And
the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for
that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty
years. 4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also
after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of
8. men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty
men which were of old, men of renown.
Lev 18:22-23 22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with
womankind: it is abomination. 23 Neither shalt thou lie with any
beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand
before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
When the Lord God destroys these perverted beings, they
die like men (Psa 82:5-7)
Ps 82:5-7 5 They know not, neither will they understand; they
walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of
course. 6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children
of the most High. 7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one
of the princes.
and they are chained in hell until the Great White Throne
Judgment (1Cor 6:1-3; 1Pet 3:19; 2Pet 2:4).
1Cor 6:1-3 1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another,
go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? 2 Do ye
not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world
shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest
matters? 3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much
more things that pertain to this life?
1Pet 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits
in prison;
9. 2Pet 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast
them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness,
to be reserved unto judgment;
Sons of God:
Adam-
Gen 5:1-3 1 This is the book of the generations of Adam.
In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God
made he him; 2 Male and female created he them; and
blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when
they were created. 3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty
years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image;
and called his name Seth:
Luke 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son
of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of
God.
Angels-
Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof,
then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods,
knowing good and evil.
Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came
to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came
also among them.
10. Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came
to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came
also among them to present himself before the LORD.
Job 38:4-7 4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations
of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. 5 Who
hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who
hath stretched the line upon it? 6 Whereupon are the
foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone
thereof; 7 When the morning stars sang together, and all
the sons of God shouted for joy?
Israel-
Isa 43:6-7 6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the
south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my
daughters from the ends of the earth; 7 Even every one that
is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory,
I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
Hos 1:10 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be
as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor
numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place
where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it
shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
Born again Christian-
11. John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he
power to become the sons of God, even to them that
believe on his name:
Gal 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the
Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
1John 3:1-2 1 Behold, what manner of love the Father
hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons
of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it
knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and
it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that,
when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see
him as he is.
Jesus Christ-
Acts 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine
heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe
that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
2Cor 1:19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was
preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and
Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.
Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet
not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live
in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved
me, and gave himself for me.
12. Gal 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God
sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
“also after that” (Gen. 6:4)
The “also after that” (Gen. 6:4)
Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and
also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the
daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same
became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
indicates that such activity also occurred after the flood,
which explains the existence of giants throughout the Old
Testament (Num. 13:33; Deu. 3:11-13; Jsh. 18:16; I Sam. 17:4;
II Sam. 21:16; I Chr. 20:8, etc.).
Num 13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak,
which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as
grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
Deut 3:11-13 11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of
the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead
of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon?
nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the
breadth of it, after the cubit of a man. 12 And this land,
which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by
the river Arnon, and half mount Gilead, and the cities
thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and to the Gadites. 13
And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, being the kingdom
13. of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region
of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of
giants.
Josh 18:16 And the border came down to the end of the
mountain that lieth before the valley of the son of Hinnom,
and which is in the valley of the giants on the north, and
descended to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of Jebusi on
the south, and descended to Enrogel,
1Sam 17:4 And there went out a champion out of the camp
of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height
was six cubits and a span.
2Sam 21:16 And Ishbibenob, which was of the sons of the
giant, the weight of whose spear weighed three hundred
shekels of brass in weight, he being girded with a new
sword, thought to have slain David.
1Chr 20:8 These were born unto the giant in Gath; and
they fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his
servants.
Satan’s plan in all of this was to destroy the promised seed of
Genesis 3:15, an effort that he continues in various ways
throughout the Old Testament.
Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the
woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise
thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
14. "those days" and “after that” (Gen 6:4)
"those days" and “after that” can be located easily. There are
two warnings for “days” in Luke 17: one is “the days of Noe”
and the other is “the days of Lot” (Luke 17:26, 28).
Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be
also in the days of the Son of man.
Luke 17:28-29 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of
Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they
planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went
out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and
destroyed them all.
Simon Peter warns of the days of Lot and Noah (2 Pet. 2:5, 7)
2Pet 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the
eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the
flood upon the world of the ungodly;
2Pet 2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy
conversation of the wicked:
Jude says “amen” to Lot (Jude 6–7). The context of every
passage quoted is “fallen angels”!
15. Jude 1:6-7 6 And the angels which kept not their first
estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in
everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the
great day. 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities
about them in like manner, giving themselves over to
fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for
an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
These are the “iron” men of Daniel 2:43–44 who are given as
ten in number—at least the reigning hierarchy will be that
number (Rev. 17:12–14). These are the “king pins” of the
bowling alley (ten in number, if my memory serves me
correctly).
Dan 2:43-44 43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with
miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of
men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron
is not mixed with clay. 44 And in the days of these kings
shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall
never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to
other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all
these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
Rev 17:12-14 12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are
ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but
receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13 These
have one mind, and shall give their power and strength
unto the beast. 14 These shall make war with the Lamb,
and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords,
16. and King of kings: and they that are with him are called,
and chosen, and faithful.
Fallen angels have been here and have produced children.
They “left their own habitation” (Jude), and having obtained
blood from somewhere (Eve, as Dracula, took it orally!), they
“came in unto the daughters of men.”
In so doing they lost their ability to “commute” in outer space,
and when the Flood came they drowned like “men,” Psa. 82:6-7
Their spirits are now in prison awaiting the White Throne
Judgment (1 Pet. 3:19–20; 2 Pet. 2:4).
1Pet 3:19-20 19 By which also he went and preached unto
the spirits in prison; 20 Which sometime were disobedient,
when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of
Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is,
eight souls were saved by water.
2Pet 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but
cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of
darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, and Noah lived with these giants,
saw them, and undoubtedly used their standards of “weights”
and “measurements” when they built the Ark.
17. “which were of old, men of renown” (Gen 6:4)
Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with
the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not
bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord
rebuke thee.
Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and
also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the
daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same
became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
We may conclude our comments on Genesis 6:1–4 by saying:
1. Fallen angels have visited this earth as 33-year-old males,
without wings.
2. They will come again the same way as “visitors” from other
planets.
3. They will come seeking a means of reproduction for the
purpose of populating outer space with a race of God-defying,
Bible-rejecting, Satanicly inspired humanoids; this host is to
fulfill the will of the first recorded “I will” in history (Isa. 14).
4. They will be associated with iron and iron oxide (and
derivatives) and will operate on a hydrogen cycle or something
connected with electricity.
5. They will obtain blood from men (and perhaps animals), and
in their worship services, those who believe the word and hold
18. to “the testimony of Jesus Christ” will be decapitated at an altar,
and their blood will be drunk in communion cups as a Eucharist
and offered to the “god of this world,” who will sit on the mercy
seat in the temple at Jerusalem (2 Thess. 2; Rev. 1, 6, 20; Psa.
16; Deut. 32).
