They publish Q and Kerrang! Which are both music magazines.
These are all the other brands of media they publish, ranging
from other genres of magazines to tv and radio channels.
According to the ABC and NRS statistics the readership for
Kerrang! In 2003 was 468,000 people however there has
been a gradual decline and in 2012 it was only 345,000. This is
also true of Q’s readership which declined from 944,000 in
2003 to 377,000 in 2012. This could be due to the fact
Kerrang! Is targeted at a very specific genre of music and also
due to the changes in economy.
The same statistics showed there were 9.1 readers per copy in
2003 compared to 6.8 in 2012.
NRS’ statistics showed in Jan-Jun 2010 the mean age was 22.
Kerrang! Also has over 400,000 Twitter Followers and over
450,000 likes on Facebook.
