Customization Instructions:
1. Download the Open Source Control Software at http://pt-
zoptics.com/landing/open-source.html.
2. Extract the Zip file into a folder on you Mac or PC.
3. Once the files are on your computer you can open the HTML
files in any web browser to use them or text editor to edit them.
4. PTZOptics has made customization extremely easy and you
do not need to open the HTML!
5. You will find a folder called “images”. Inside the images fold-
er is a folder called Presets which holds all the of preset images
for each controller. Here you will find (6) .png files labeled “1“,
“2“, “3”, “4”, “5“ & “6“. You will also find a PSD (Photoshop File)
added for easy editing.
6. By replacing the .png files with your own custom .png files
you can change the buttons that show up on the controllers.
(There are seperate folders for each controller church/corpo-
rate/education).
7. TIP: Make sure to use the same resolution so they show up
properly.

Implementation Instructions
1. Once you have customized your images (or you
can skip that step and use the stock images) you
need to located your cameras IP Address.
2. Make sure your camera is plugged into the net-
work and use the PTZOptics IP Address Settings
Tool to search your network for the address.
3. You can click the “Preferences“ tab to add your
cameras IP Address and click “Reload“ Camera.
4. You can now click the ”Assign Presets” tab and
assign all of your camera presets.
5. You can now use your customized camera con-
toller :)

The PTZOptics iOS Camera Control App provides incredible control of your PTZOptics™ cameras using the VISCA Over IP protocol. With the multitouch interface, you can pan, tilt and zoom with variable speed for a smooth camera control experience. You can control up to four cameras simultaneously and store up to 10 preset positions for each camera. For productions that only use a single camera, this app provides a better experience by allowing for smooth transitions between preset positions.

OBS Video filters

Video filters can be applied to any Source or Scene by right clicking on the title and selecting Filters. New Filters can be added to OBS when specific plugins are installed. Similar to Sources, Filters can have their visibility toggled on and off in the Filters management window. By default, OBS organizes Filters into Audio/Video Filters and Effect Filters. You can add a filter by selecting the “+” plus button, which will open the Filter and allow you to adjust the Filter settings. There is a plugin called OBS Filter Hotkeys that will allow you to toggle the visibility on and off for Filters using Hotkeys without having to open the Filters management window.

Customizing obs

Once you have become comfortable with OBS, you may want to start customizing the OBS software. OBS allows users to customize many settings including the overall theme and positioning of each major user interface element. You will notice the ability to resize areas of OBS with your mouse by hovering over the edge of a particular area. For example, if you hover your mouse under the main video area you will notice you can click and drag the side to resize the element. You can also click and drag the top bar of an element to drag the entire element into a new space to reorganize the OBS interface. You can also click and drag entire interface elements outside of the main OBS application in order to create a dedicated space in a new window. Some core OBS elements such as Scenes and the Audio Mixer offer alternate layout options. For example, the image below shows the default audio mixer moved to the side and put into a vertical mode.

How to Optimize OBS

In this chapter, you will learn how to optimize your OBS production by using the settings available in OBS to fit your specific needs. Most users of OBS are using the software for live production, live streaming and/or recording. The more that you plan to do with OBS, the more important it will become to use the correct system settings. In general, OBS will allow you to customize your project to fit almost any resolution or frame rate. Therefore, OBS is capable of pushing your computer beyond its limits and a good understanding of your hardware and its limitations is required to optimize OBS properly. While you are using OBS, you should keep an eye on your computer's resource management tool. Windows computers can use Task Manager, and Mac OS uses Activity Monitor.

Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) is an open source software designed for live streaming, and video production. The project was originally created by Hugh “Jim” Bailey and released in August of 2012. Fast forward an entire decade, and developers from around the world collaborate and contribute to the project making it possible to have up to date and stable versions of the software for Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems. OBS is the result of a large community of developers working together to create a flexible software solution for audio visual projects ranging from live streaming to video distribution and beyond. If you use the software regularly, you should seriously consider supporting the project financially on either Patreon or OpenCollective.

How to host BIG company meetings with live streaming

Current Zoom video conference solutions can scale up to 1,000 participants for all-hands meetings (using the enterprise license). Zoom video conference calls generally fit up to 25 people on one screen and requires scrolling of multiple screens to view additional users. New live video workflows are introduced which merge technologies used for one-way live streaming broadcasts with content delivery networks and live zoom video conference calls used to organize smaller breakout sessions. Zoom video conference breakout sessions allow large groups of video conference callers to split off into smaller groups. This feature is ideal when large meetings take place online which sometimes follow a company address that is delivered with a live stream. Professors used a wide range of digital tools, including online learning management systems, video conferencing tools, and messaging platforms, to make sure students can access course materials and communicate with professors.

In this presentation, you will learn how to dramatically increase the quality of your Zoom meeting recordings. In our last blog post and video, you can learn about the various video recording options available in Zoom. Our tests show that cloud recordings are generally less than 1 Mbps and local recordings are less than 2 Mbps. A bitrate can be used to rank the quality of a video recording in most scenarios and Zoom’s recording bitrate is quite low. Usually, a low bit-rate for video recordings can result in pixelation and general low quality. Using video production software like OBS, Wirecast, or vMix you can gain the ability to choose a higher quality bit-rate for your recordings. Video production software like OBS also allows you to enhance the quality of your videos with audio enhancements and video production features such as transitions and scene organizations. There is a feature inside of Zoom called “Enabled Group HD Video.” You may have noticed that inside of most Zoom meetings your video and the video of others looks well, small and sometimes pixelated. This is usually because Zoom is doing it’s absolute best to make everyone's connection seamless for online communications in real time. Therefore, depending on the bandwidth of your internet connection, Zoom may reduce video quality in order to optimize your overall experience.

How to set up Countdown Timers in Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is a great video communication tool that can be enhanced with all kinds of video elements by using OBS. OBS, stands for Open Broadcaster Software, and it is a video production software that supports a virtual webcam output. By using OBS with it’s virtual webcam output feature in Teams, you can overlay graphics and countdown timers in Teams. This is a great way to show meeting countdown timers, lower thirds graphics and much more.

Ptz control in vMix for scene changes

You can control multiple PTZ cameras with vMix using the Pro or 4K versions of the software. In order to take control over PTZ cameras inside of vMix you will need to know your PTZ camera's IP address and be on the same local area network as the cameras. If you do not know your camera's IP address, you will need to follow the instructions in the cameras set up video. Once you know your camera's IP address, you can simply enter it into vMix to gain PTZ camera control. Select PTZOptics as the camera type, enter the IP address and click connect. You can use the Pan, Tilt and Zoom controls to start moving your camera around the room. As you are controlling the camera, notice the speed options available for manual pan/tilt and preset pan/tilt. These are the controls you can use to tell vMix the speed at which you want the camera to move in a manual setting and during presets.

Control multiple ptz cameras at once with obs

Using OBS you can control PTZOptics cameras in a couple of different ways. The most popular way is to install the free PTZOptics OBS plugin which adds some great robotic camera control features to OBS. Once installed, you can open up the plugin and control up to 8 cameras. The plugin even create specific hotkeys for calling PTZ presets and it adds the ability to control cameras with an XBox joystick. There is another way to control PTZOptics cameras with OBS called a “Dockable” interface using HTML codes available from PTZOptics. The HTML files can be used with the “Docks” feature of OBS to dock a PTZ camera controller directly into the OBS interface. You can learn more about that here.

This feature makes it even easier to connect OBS with Zoom. This tutorial also includes a new method for working with virtual audio cables to connect OBS and Zoom. The video side is easy, and the audio side is a little more difficult. Let’s dig in. The picture above is a complete connection diagram showing you how to connect audio and video between OBS and Zoom. Essentially, you are able to bring audio and video directly from Zoom and OBS with any Windows or Mac PC. The main difference between Windows and Mac computers is the type of Audio setup that you use.

There’s a process in psychology called “priming” that’s helpful in meeting scheduling. Priming is a powerful tool for meeting hosts because it helps to influence the way meeting participants will associate their role in association with the proposed meeting. Research shows that priming can influence someone to walk more slowly by having them read words such as “patient,” “polite,” or “respectful.” So, prime your meeting participants to be excited for an upcoming meeting using words such as “impressive” or “tremendous.” Depending on the type of presentation you’re planning, consider priming your meeting attendees with a catchy title or an associated image attached to the meeting invitation.

This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.

My slides at Nordic Testing Days 6.6.2024 Climate impact / sustainability of software testing discussed on the talk. ICT and testing must carry their part of global responsibility to help with the climat warming. We can minimize the carbon footprint but we can also have a carbon handprint, a positive impact on the climate. Quality characteristics can be added with sustainability, and then measured continuously. Test environments can be used less, and in smaller scale and on demand. Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.

Download the Open Source Control Software at http://ptzoptics.com/landing/open-source.html. 2. Extract the Zip file into a folder on you Mac or PC. 3. Once the files are on your computer you can open the HTML files in any web browser to use them or text editor to edit them. 4. PTZOptics has made customization extremely easy and you do not need to open the HTML! 5. You will find a folder called “images”. Inside the images folder is a folder called Presets which holds all the of preset images for each controller. Here you will find (6) .png files labeled “1“, “2“, “3”, “4”, “5“ & “6“. You will also find a PSD (Photoshop File) added for easy editing. 6. By replacing the .png files with your own custom .png files you can change the buttons that show up on the controllers. Once you have customized your images (or you can skip that step and use the stock images) you need to located your cameras IP Address. 2. Make sure your camera is plugged into the network and use the PTZOptics IP Address Settings Tool to search your network for the address. 3. You can click the “Preferences“ tab to add your cameras IP Address and click “Reload“ Camera. 4. You can now click the ”Assign Presets” tab and assign all of your camera presets. 5.
