This document summarizes the production process of gum resin and turpentine at the Sapuran Manufacturing Centre in Wonosobo, Central Java, which is owned by PT Perhutani. The centre produces approximately 40 tons of gum resin and 10 tons of turpentine per day from pine resin. It describes the basic production system and processes involved. It also identifies issues with the current filtering size being too big and the cleaning process being static. Alternatives proposed to address these problems include resizing the filter mesh and using steam guns, which would help remove waste more easily and increase flexibility.
