This document contains 12 sections that summarize passages from the Bible about various topics. It discusses honoring one's parents, the pride and hypocrisy of those who think themselves pure, not taking God's grace for granted, greed, disrespecting parents, God's omniscience, adultery, and companionship with the righteous. The overall message is about upholding moral virtues and honoring one's elders according to biblical teachings.
in Galatians chapter 3 Paul contrasts salvation under the Law of Moses with the salvation we have through Jesus. Galatians 3:22-29 is full of truths regarding our true position as sons of our loving Father. We will look at 8 things which our faith in Christ will cause us to become.
We are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works. We are blessed for doing God's work. We are to speak and do. Faith without works is dead. Faith is shown by our works.
Genesis 47:13-15 Now there was no bread in all the land; for the famine was very severe, so that the land of Egypt and the land of Canaan languished because of the famine. 14 And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, for the grain which they bought; and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh's house. 15 So when the money failed in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said, "Give us bread, for why should we die in your presence? For the money has failed." There are a number of reasons that money fails.

The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Proverbs 30:11 There is a generation that curseth their
father, and doth not bless their mother.
God commands that we honor our parents.
Proverbs 20 20 Whoso curseth his father or his
mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure
darkness.
Exodus 20:12 (KJV) Honor thy father and thy
mother: that thy days may be long upon the land
which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
3. 3
I’m afraid that we are living in such a time.
But there is often much to be learned from the
old grey head, even if he is getting feeble.
The young look at the elders and
don’t respect their wisdom and
knowledge gained with years.
4. 4
12 There is a generation that are pure in their own
eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
People who think they are pure (morally clean)
before God but who still are not cleansed of their
moral filth of sin are hypocrites.
The Bible Knowledge Commentary: An Exposition of the Scriptures by Dallas Seminary Faculty.
A child of God will behave as a child of God.
5. 5
Don’t confuse the Grace of God with the idea that
He will overlook sin; He Will not.
God will forgive our sins when we confess and
forsake our sins.
I thank God for His Grace and Forgiveness, but I
will not abuse God’s Love by sinning lightly.
That is pride and God hates pride.
6. 6
13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes!
and their eyelids are lifted up.
Proverbs 6:16-17 (KJV) These six things doth the
LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto
Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that
shed innocent blood,
7. 7
14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords,
and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor
from off the earth, and the needy from among men.
Some people use and abuse those in poverty.
God will see to their judgment and punishment.
8. 8
15 The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give,
give. There are three things that are never satisfied,
yea, four things say not, It is enough: 16 The grave;
and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled
with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough.
This is speaking of greed in various ways.
9. 9
17 The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth
to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall
pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.
There is not much worse than those who
disrespect their parents.
God is watching and will condemn.
10. 10
18 There be three things which are too wonderful
for me, yea, four which I know not: 19 The way of
an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a
rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and
the way of a man with a maid.
We can see an eagle in the sky, but can we
tell where he has been; see his tracks?
A snake on a rock leaves no trail.
A ship in the ocean leave no track.
In that way a seducer is difficult to find and punish,
but God sees all!
11. 11
20 Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she
eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have
done no wickedness.
In this case the woman is the seducer.
She is as casual about sex with a man not her
husband, as about eating a meal.
She will not admit that she is wrong.
12. 12
Has she gotten away with it?
NO. And neither will the men
who chase after her.
2 Timothy 2:22 (TLB) 22 Run from anything that
gives you the evil thoughts that young men often
have, but stay close to anything that makes you
want to do right. Have faith and love, and enjoy the
companionship of those who love the Lord and
have pure hearts.
